Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good for 7 nights! Bought this for a week long bike tour. Slept well on it. Little noisy, but so is everything when you camp. Some nights were so hot I slept directly on the pad and it was fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Air Pad! comfortable, lightweight, easy to pack into backpack

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Most Comfortable Pad This pad is ideally suited for anyone that seeks comfort over other considerations such as weight. It truly is the most comfortable pad I have ever used - and I've used a lot of them over the years. As a side sleeper, I found the the pad plush and supportive. The pad provided ample depth and support to keeps my hips and shoulder from developing numbing pressure points during the night. It is also wide enough to prevent me from rolling off while sleeping. Since weight isn't as important for my bikepacking activities, I bought this pad for that purpose. Notwithstanding, given its comfort level, I will carry it while backpacking as well. It weighs is about 1.5 pounds, which is significant for a sleeping pad. However, feeling refreshed and energetic in the morning is far more important to me than 8 or 9 ounces. I haven't used the pad long enough to judge its durability. It seems well-made but only time will tell. Also, it requires healthy lungs to blow up. If your are taking a girlfriend, make sure its a real one; you'll not want to inflate anything else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderfully Versatile Extraordinary piece of gear. You can side sleep, back or front sleep and find true comfort .Whether is on flat hard surface ,uneven territory it insulates and supports like a cloud.I even used it on top of mattress ! Easy to inflate/delfate ,stores and cares lightly its just downright perfect ! I look forward to carring it in my pack for journeys short and long.I've worn out the rest, now I have the best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So good I have two! HI - I love to backpack but have arthritic hips and the hard ground just does not work for me any more. This air mattress is my new bff, it is super light, easy to roll and store, and takes 33 large inhalations to inflate. The 3.5" depth more than supports my 130 lb weight and keeps me off the ground. I like it so much, I just bought a second to have with me in the truck so I am ready to backpack with a friend at any time

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For a Comfy Sleep -- This is the one! While this sleeping pad is thicker and just a bit heavier and larger to pack than one I have for mountaineering, this one will be great to use on backpacking overnights. It is much more comforting and worth the trade-off. Strongly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks good so far It’s February and I’ve not been backpacking or camping but have only slept on this in the house as a try-out. It’s very comfortable. I used a Sea to Summit pump sack to inflate it and that worked great. I found the mattress easy to deflate to get it back into its stuff sack. Also, I’m fine with the 20” width. Saves some weight and I’ve never had a problem with rolling off of a mattress or sleeping pad. If you do then you might look at a wider mattress. Oh, great price, quick delivery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Is A Great Air Mattress !! I bought this pad to replace a cheap Stansport mat that I bought at a local sporting goods store. I like to winter camp, so getting some loft between the ground and/or shelter floor was a big consideration for me. When I bought my Insulated Double Z, I was under the impression it was self inflating. So, when I got it and found it was not, I was a bit disappointed. I did find it inflates in about 35 breaths, so i later decided that lack of self inflation was not too much of an issue. I did find that I lost some air overnight, but I attribute most of that to the fact that every time I've used it, the temperatures were in the teens and twenties and perhaps my warm breath used to inflate lost some of it's "volume" when it cooled. I still had a very comfortable sleep, though. In a tent, the comfort rivaled my mattress at home. On a cold, hard shelter floor it was a little less comfortable. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my purchase. If you are reading this as a newbie who is shopping for your first equipment - please - don't make the mistake I did and think you are saving money by going "cheap" with your first purchase. Get the good stuff the first time and with some care, it will last you for years. You can't go wrong with Big Agnes products.

Looking for a new set up and was.considering BA Whiskey Park and Double Z pad . Are these compatible ?? Will thery work well together with the sleeve ??? TIA

Asked by: Nanuk
HIya Nanuk, thanks for your question! You can use any insulated 25 x 78 inch sleeping pad with the Whiskey Park bag. The Double Z Air Pad will work, but it might not keep you warm in 0 degree weather like the bag is designed for. (It will be fine in 15 to 20 degrees.) For 0 degrees, you might want to consider a foam core pad like the Big Agnes Hinman Sleeping Pad. Check it out here:

I need a sleeping bag to fit the 20/72/4 mummy pad, not having any luck finding a bag to fit the mummy pad, only rectangular pads. And would like a 20-30 degree bag in a range of 100-150 dollars , is there a BA bag for the double z insulated mummy pad ?

Asked by: Keny
Hey Keny, There are several bags that would fit the mummy pad you have! One is the Big Agnes Husted 20 Degree Sleeping Bag and another is the Big Agnes Boot Jack 25 Degree Sleeping Bag. I hope this helps!
