Rated 3 out of 5 by from the bag is like a joke I received this item recently and I'm prepping for my first trip with it. I thought it was a bit odd when I opened the box and the sleeping bag itself was just folded and the carry bag separately underneath the sleeping bag.. I tried getting it rolled up nice and tight to put it in the bag and it's like cruel joke. I've packed some tents and sleeping bags in tight cases before, but this takes the cake. I cannot get this sleeping bag completely in the bag. It does not roll as tight as the carry bag is in diameter. Maybe they gave me the carry bag for the 0 degree version?? Other than this, the sleeping bag seems nice. I'll try and report back after my -10 degree excursion.

Hi Again,  I'm the the market for a do all bag that sees more colder temps then warmer, I really like this bag but am concerned about weight and bulk , is a compression sack available or supplied and it states 'with recommended Sleep Pad ' which one ???

Asked by: Nanuk
Hiya Nanuk, thanks for your question! This bag is designed without any bottom insulation to curb the weight and bulk, so a sleeping pad is a necessity. At 7 pounds, 4 ounces, it is still quite heavy but it makes up for it in warmth. I would not consider it a all-season bag. It is recommended for below freezing (0 to 20 degrees Fahrenheit) temperatures. The stuff sack is included and it compresses down to 12 x 15 inches. This bag requires a 25 x 78 inch rectangular sleeping pad. Hope this helps!
