Rated 2 out of 5 by from Zipper Leaks! Very Disapointed Bought this jacket because it was the only Trim Fit I could find with trim fit (I'm 5'2, 100lbs) so Trim and Next to Skin are the only two fits I can get away with. Wore it all winter with no problems - pit zips would have been nice but were not a deal breaker, I have the Andessa for those adventures. Wore it on the weekend for an hour hike in light rain, and when I got home and took it off there was a line of water down my Atom AR, looks like the water got through the zipper then ran off the flap down the one side of my jacket. Extremely disappointed, I'm hoping it was a defect and can be warrantied. Defiantly not what I expected from Arc'teryx.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great performance shell with a feminine fit A great performance shell that fits like a women's jacket should! So far I am very impressed with this jacket. It feels a little stiff at first but it has relaxed a little after a couple of weeks of hiking use. The hood is very functional and the body & sleeves are nice and long. I am tall and relatively slim at 5'11", 155lbs and I can comfortably fit an average mid-weight layer under the large. The customer service agent I spoke with on the phone was excellent at answering both my technical questions as well as making an accurate description of the colour "Firefly" which looks like orange on the website but is actually a bright red! The only downfall this jacket has is the lack of pit-zips but in the short time I have had it there hasn't been any issues with breathability.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Waterproof Jacket I was super excited about this jacket but do try this jacket on before you buy - my usual medium was too small, especially around the bust and hips. I bought this jacket with hiking/backpacking in mind but after some short hikes in the jacket, it was soon apparent that the jacket wasn't as breathable as I'd hoped and was sweating like a mofo with nowhere for the heat to vent out. I love the colours of this jacket but I think I'm going to try the Zeta LT Hybrid... pit zips!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great 3 Season Arcteryx in your Regular Size ...Or consider ordering a size up to make it 4 season. I was looking for a lightweight, breathable shell I could wear alone in spring/summer and layered into the fall/winter. I wanted this for hiking the Annuapurna, snowboarding in CO, and all-around general wear. I usually wear an S in Arcteryx gear and went for that first. With my Atom LT underneath and any range of baselayers I have a bit of restriction across the chest. That being said, I'm a pretty busty girl (5'3'', 115 lbs, 32D). One thing to note is that the Beta LT and Hybrid LT are 'trim fit' jackets. This means that while I can wear a mid-weight base layer and a thin mid layer (the Atom LT is my favorite) under the Beta LT, I don't think I could fit an additional mid layer or a thick down layer. I did look at the Beta AR (for the roomier 'athletic fit') but felt like the added bulk (from heavier gore, pit zips, etc.) wasn't worth the weight or price tag. I'm now reconsidering my decision because that extra room would rock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice shell Great shell. The small feels like xs, so I returned it for a medium. The shell is very light weight and great for wet outdoor activities.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LOVE this jacket! This jacket is a great all-round jacket on the west coast. It's lightweight, more durable than active shell and gives a flattering fit which some shells lack. Try one out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super durable! I bought an Arcteryx Beta LT jacket two years ago and it has held up so well and performed exactly as I needed it to! I loved it so much I bought one for christmas for my mother and she has loved it just the same. It has pockets in all the right places and performs well as a ski coat in the winter to a heavy duty rain jacket in the summer. I would recommend this jacket to anyone who is looking to buy themselves or a friend the most perfect jacket out there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from breathable coat Very breathable coat. Period. My wife had it for couple months right now, with northwest early cold and strong wind, this coat is really a must have equipment. It's light-weight, waterproof, but very breathable. When my wife had it, we compared to some other brands, such as NorthFace, colombia, etc, they are more affortable on the price, true, but with the waterpoof feature, they are not breathable as this one. My wife is picky on clothes with waterproof feature. She doesn't like the feeling to have a rain coat to put on and all the moisture is trapped inside of the coat. I'm not judging which one is better or worse. Pick the one suit you most and you are willing to pay. All in all, if the price is not a problem, try this one. It won't fail you.

WAIST: Measure around the narrowest part of the waist, usually near the belly button.

HIP: Stand with feet together and measure around the widest part of the hip.

ARC'TERYX FIT GUIDE
NEXT to SKIN FIT: These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Used for base layers which integrate well with Arc'teryx Expedition, Trim, Athletic and Relaxed Fit styles.

TRIM FIT: These trim fitting garments share motion-friendly traits with an Arc'teryx Regular fit style, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. The Arc'teryx trim fit is sized for a base layer and a trim synthetic or down filled mid-layer.

REGULAR FIT: This is the "Arc'teryx Standard" fit. The complex patterns used utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion and eliminate excess bulk. Trimmer than the Relaxed fit with room for a base layer, a light fleece mid-layer and a synthetic or down filled mid-layer.

RELAXED FIT: Relaxed fit garments rely on both articulation and higher volume patterns to provide comfort and mobility. This is a looser fit featuring room for a base layer plus a thick cold weather mid-layer.

EXPEDITION FIT: Expedition fit is suitable for winter / extreme conditions. The larger cut accommodates multiple layers without binding or restricting movement. Their maximum fit with room for a base layer plus multiple, thick cold weather mid-layers.
