The Arcteryx Women's Altra 72 LT Pack is a lightweight trekking pack for weekend trips up to long seven day trips. The Altra balances weight with it's pear shape, holding it closer to your body. The Load Transfer Disc at the hipbelt allows the pack to pivot slightly when you walk, following your every move. The GridLock shoulders customize the straps for your preference, allowing each one to be adjusted separately, since not all shoulders are made equal. My right shoulder is totally lower than my left. A U-shaped zipper can be used to load or unload your pack, or just as a quick side-access zip. You can also choose to top-load like a more traditional pack, and utilize the collar extension when you just can't go without that extra item or two. The top lid has dual zippered pockets for smaller items, and can be removed if you feel like lightening up a bit. The dual Wingman pockets are also handy for smaller items, or a waterbottle, all accessible when on the move with the pack on your back. This allows you to quickly snag the bear mace when Old Smokey wanders into your path.
So sorry, but only 4 items are allowed for comparison, so we're comparing the first 4. I blame the gnomes and so should you.
