Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great glove for casual activities in cold weather, but not waterproof. While I knew these gloves weren't waterproof when I bought them, I was still hoping for a little more water resistance. The glove fits well, but not great. The fingers fit great lengthwise, but the width overall is baggier than I'd have wanted in a liner glove. But this is more than a liner glove.,,,,It worked like a charm at the freezing Mardi Gras celebration in Soulard, MO. Kept my hands warm and dry. The wrist color is navy for those who are curious, not the carbon color Arc'teryx has been pairing with oxblood. These gloves won't work with iOS touch devices either.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Get the job done without sacrificing functionality This is a solid glove. I have only used these gloves as stand alone gloves, I haven't layered them with a mitten. That said, they do a great job blocking the wind and still allow for a full range of motion for my fingers. I can tie my shoes, check my Blackberry while waiting for the train, read a book while on the train - you know really outdoorsy stuff - without having to remove these gloves. I'm tall (6'5") and the XL does the trick. If I was going to spend the whole day outside in frigid temps I'd be sure to grab an extra mitten to layer up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm, Stylish, Well Built but a bit Pricey I'll admit it.. I only bought these because they matched my Arc'teryx jacket. They are extremely well built with a quality finish like all Arc'teryx products. Fit is pretty good too (check the size charts) without being clumsy. Like others have said - no problem tying your shoes or typing away on your laptop. Hands stay warm while walking around in the cold city air (sorry no mountains in NJ) but they'll also make a good layering glove for a day on the slopes. A bit pricey though. Overall a solid B+.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good materials but lacking in fit and finish I typically don't wear gloves but decided to pick up a light pair for morning commutes. The material is soft, flexible and the leather additions really help the functionality of the glove. The fit itself is poor, I measured a medium and had to exchange for a large. These are unisex gloves so keep that in mind. Also, they don't fit my hand very well, for example, excessive room in the pinky area due to a poor fit. Given the price of the gloves and brand, I was left wanting more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gloves, good fitkeeping fingers warm yet able to still do small things, like tie your shoes. These gloves have a great fit and the cuff extends far enough up your wrist to keep out spin drift. Additionally, your fingers are not so bulked up so as to make tying your shoes an impossibility. I would highly recommend these gloves to all but my worst enemy(they don't anything nice the pot lickers!).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great glove Simple, comfortable, excellent fit, excellent feel. That should summarize it. Seems wind-resistant and somewhat water resistant. Summertime now so I cannot tell how warm it really is. But it will serve my purpose to use them hiking for light protection in cool/windy weather.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Casual Glove This is not what I would call a "technical" glove. It is great for wearing to work or to the bar, but it is a little bulky and permeable for the trail. Also, it is a little to big to use as a liner. Personalty, I would go with the Gothic fro Arcteryx for more versatility.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The product does what it was designed to do quite well. According to the manufacturer's insert, these are not gloves, rather glove liners. I wouldn't wear them alone. I used them as liners in my Gordini ski gloves. They worked quite well. The cold didn't get through at around 20 degrees Fahrenheit.

Chest / Bust - Measure around your chest / bust, holding the measuring tape under your armpit.

Waist - Measure around the natural waist, which is often the narrowest part of your waist.

Hip - Measure around your hips at the widest part.

Sleeve Length - With your arms in a slightly bent position, measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the length of your arm, to the wrist.

Inseam / Pant Length - From a standing position, measure from your crotch to your ankle.

Head Circumference - Measure the full circumference around the widest part of your head.

Hand Length - Measure from the tip of your middle finger to the base of the palm.

Hand Width - Measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles, excluding the thumb.

• Please note that all the info provided above refers to body measurements, and NOT the dimensions of the garment.

Next to Skin Fit - These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Garments in this fit category when constructed using Arc'teryx's heavier-weight AR and SV fabrics also perform very well as mid layer pieces, and users should consider selecting a larger size to accommodate a base layer underneath if the intention is to use this layering system as a mid layer option.

Trim Fit - Trim-fitted garments share the motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx "Athletic" fit garments, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. These close-fitting pieces layer well under other garments.

Athletic Fit - This is the "Arc'teryx Standard" fit. These complete patterns utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion by minimizing excess bulk. Easy layering under or over each item extends seasonal versatility and comfort.

Relaxed Fit - Relaxed fit garments rely on higher volume patterns and a reduced amount of articulation to offer roomy mobility.

Expedition Fit - Cut roomier than the Arc'teryx Athletic fit and suitable for winter/extreme conditions, Expedition (XPD) fit garments are cut larger to accommodate multiple layers without binding or restricting movement.

• You can find the fit type and additional fit info for Arc'teryx styles in the product description FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS.
