The Arc'Teryx R275 LT Harness is a lightweight harness for speedy climbing adventures on the rock and in the gym. To drop the weight and add breathability, you'll find Vapor Mesh in the oval leg loops, with elastic connectors to stretch a bit, fitting a wider range of thigh sizes. At the thin and sleek waist belt you'll experience, but not see, Warp Strength Technology, spreading the weight over a wide surface area as a single piece of webbing separates and then comes back together. Tighten up at the aluminum anodized buckle and spend all summer climbing new projects.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So comfortable it feel like your climbing without a harness on I realize that all Arcteryx products are a bit pricey, and this one is no exception, but it is well worth it. The harness is so comfortable to wear that you don't even know it is on. The salesman in the shop told me not to try it on if I didn't want to fall in love with it and he was right. Anything else I tried on seemed too bulky and heavy after testing this puppy. Overall it is more to buy and more to love, don't settle for less. Spend the extra dough, just do it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very light and comfortable. This harness is perfect for working on your sport route projects. It's so light you forget that you are wearing a harness. It's quite comfortable as well so if you have to hangdog your way up that new project it won't numb your ass. But it's not ideal for trad climbing due to its non heavy-duty nature. I already have another harness for trad climbing so this is not an issue. So I'd highly recommend it if you plan on using it for mostly sport climbing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing, light, comfy, just another piece of arc'terx gear I pulled this out of the box and was amazed at how small and light it was, at first i thought it was gonna be painful. Not at all, i use this harness everywhere. it feels like your wearing nothing at all. The only problem would be with the leg loops, it looks like arc'terx changed the sizes around in the past few years i have always fit tightly into the leg loops at a medium but now they are loose, just keep that in mind when ordering.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME HARNESS!!!!! I have had this harness now for about 8 months and it has been great. It has travelled to the crag, on my first multi-pitch, and to the gym. It is a super durable harness, which I would expect from Arcteryx, and is very lightweight and comfortable. I upgraded to this harness from the Metolious Safe-Tech, and I won't be looking back. If you are looking for a great lightweight everyday harness, then this is the harness for you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything you need and nothing else. This harness is built with minimal material and maximum performance. Extremely light weight and literally forms to your body with very little time. The mesh leg loops are breathable and comfortable. I bought this harness to replace my BD harness. I can't remember the model but it had the speed loops. This harness is much less bulky and far more comfortable. I have a size 28-30 waist and bought a small in this harness. I have had this is on for hours at a time and sometimes even forget I have it on! I love being on lead with this harness, because it feels like its not even there. I have definitely spent some time in this taking falls and hanging on projects and never experience any discomfort. Yes it is a little costly, but it is extremely durable and very well engineered. Bottom line, try it on and get on a rope! You will not be disappointed and may even find yourself with one in your bag shortly after!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If I was wearing nothing but this harness I'd still feel naked but oh so safe. When I received this harness in the mail I was perplexed as to what I ordered since the package was no bigger than my fist. After putting it on, I did not want to take it off for anyone. Facilitating rock climbing all day at an outdoor adventure camp in South Texas, I'm required to wear my harness for hours on end and this harness allows me to stay comfortable and not burdened by bulky padded leg loops that accumulate sweat in all the wrong places. I have a 33 inch waist so I went for a Large, but a Medium I believe would have sufficed and still left enough room to grow in case I pack on some winter weight. The hand-stitched craftsmanship is an Arcteryx staple in this snazzy, lightweight harness. Perfect for wearing at your gym workout switching between sport route and bouldering problems and also for hitting some multi-pitches out in the wilderness. I wouldn't wear any other harness. You done did it again, Arcteryx.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This harness is worth it If you want to climb and not feel a big padded jock strap riding your tail this is the one . The harness allows for the freedom that is necessary for technical climbing and comfortable enough to sit in all day on multi-pitch climbs. Big Ups.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Real. Comfortable. Harness Super comfortable, I've had it for a couple years now and it still shows little sign of wear. Feels like you're not wearing anything and you can wear it all day

- + Size Guide

Hipbelt Sizing
SIZE Small Medium Large
Men's 27 - 32" 32 - 37" 37 - 42"
Women's 25 - 30" 27 - 32" 30 - 35"

How to Find Your Foot Measurements

Arc'teryx packs are sized either in 3-length options: Short (S), Regular (R) and Tall (T), or in 2-length options: Short/Regular (SR), and Regular/Tall (RT).

Sizing refers to YOUR OWN BACK LENGTH

Measure your Back:

• Measure along the spine between the 7th cervical vertebra and the level of the hip iliac crest
• Compare this measurement to the Sizing Charts
• It is possible to interchange different size shoulder strap and hipbelt components on many Arc'teryx Packs, but this will not change or affect the back-length of the pack.
