Rated 4 out of 5 by from good fit, nice texture, side pockets are too small... as opposed from the recent negative changes to the fit of the once wonderful rampart pants, these pants fit well around the hips and thighs. Very nice overall, with a good feel to the texture. My one criticism is the small size of the side pockets, as my cell phone sits too exposed, if they went another inch deeper they would be fine, but as it is, it is a little to precarious. The cargo pockets have a nice design, but again, slightly too small.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Really nice all around activity pants It's well designed pants. with very comfortable fit. great for any activity and everyday wearing. Really everything is well designed. maybe a bit bulky in knees with this articulated staff but in the of the day it's good wen you driving a lot or when you doing climbing or tricking up. But dear Arcteryx Team do something with fabric! Right now i'm wearing actively two of it in admiral and grey color. The material is rubbed and crumpled pretty. fast And the problem is when you wash it it becomes all with scratches on the material, i'm washing it softly with 40 degrees celsius water. And the same problem was with rampat pants earlier. Guys it's pants for active wearing it's means the have to be durable. So i hope in future the problem with fabric will be solved and it will just and an ideal pants.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from love the fit, hate the front pockets This is the best-designed of the Arc'teryx pants, the most like the Spotter I liked so much. But the front pockets are shallow and on two occasions I've lost items by squatting--a swiss army knife and a ring of three keys. They're just too shallow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, well-made, perfect fit The fabric on these pants is soft and strong. They are very well-made. I am 5 foot 10, 155 pounds. These pants fit perfectly in a 32 x 32. The front pockets are short enough not to get in your way. The back flap pockets are perfect. The side pockets are engineered at an angle which is wonderful. They have enough room to move without binding. They fit well in all the right places. I will buy another pair. Oh, and the strong canvas fabric has a flexible, soft, smooth feel. A super pair of action enabled pants. I love em.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pants! I am really happy with this purchase. The thigh pockets are great for my wallet and iPhone and I don't feel them when I am sitting. They're softer and warmer than the rampart pants I have. A good everyday pant.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from ironing pants not my bag The pants look good and the fit is acceptable but the flaps on the pockets curl up after each washing ,so i would have had to iron the pants everytime .Ironing is not my cup of tea and that's why i returned them

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stratia + Rampart = winner! I wear ramparts 3 seasons but needed something for colder weather and going without cargo pockets is a no can do. I guess I have gotten used to the storage the ramparts have to offer. The stratia pants are trim fit but they fit great im 5'11" 155lb 32/32 fits perfect. They are articulated well and no binding anywhere. The front pockets are short, they could be 1-2" deeper, also the design does allow change to fall out when in a car seat, which is kinda annoying. The cargo pockets are on the small side but they work, you can't fit a 20oz bottle and close the flap like the ramparts! just good for wallet, phone, keys, etc... The back pockets are stylish looking, but I could go without them, as they are small, and I never use back pockets on pants anymore. I have a few pairs and one thing to note is the stitching is not as good on one pair as the other, it is clear, lines are not strait as they should be, loose thread ends, fabric seams not symmetrical, kind of suprised at this.

ARC'TERYX MEASUREMENT and FIT GUIDE

HOW to MEASURE:

Chest / Bust - Measure around your chest / bust, holding the measuring tape under your armpit.

Waist - Measure around the natural waist, which is often the narrowest part of your waist.

Hip - Measure around your hips at the widest part.

Sleeve Length - With your arms in a slightly bent position, measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the length of your arm, to the wrist.

Inseam / Pant Length - From a standing position, measure from your crotch to your ankle.

Head Circumference - Measure the full circumference around the widest part of your head.

Hand Length - Measure from the tip of your middle finger to the base of the palm.

Hand Width - Measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles, excluding the thumb.

• Please note that all the info provided above refers to body measurements, and NOT the dimensions of the garment.

FIT TYPE INFO and DETAILS:

Next to Skin Fit - These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Garments in this fit category when constructed using Arc'teryx's heavier-weight AR and SV fabrics also perform very well as mid layer pieces, and users should consider selecting a larger size to accommodate a base layer underneath if the intention is to use this layering system as a mid layer option.

Trim Fit - Trim-fitted garments share the motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx "Athletic" fit garments, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. These close-fitting pieces layer well under other garments.

Athletic Fit - This is the "Arc'teryx Standard" fit. These complete patterns utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion by minimizing excess bulk. Easy layering under or over each item extends seasonal versatility and comfort.

Relaxed Fit - Relaxed fit garments rely on higher volume patterns and a reduced amount of articulation to offer roomy mobility.

Expedition Fit - Cut roomier than the Arc'teryx Athletic fit and suitable for winter/extreme conditions, Expedition (XPD) fit garments are cut larger to accommodate multiple layers without binding or restricting movement.

• You can find the fit type and additional fit info for Arc'teryx styles in the product description FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS.
