The Arc'Teryx Men's Stinger Bib Pant is a snow bib for skiing, boarding, and backcountry adventuring. The waterproof N80p-X and N70p GORE-TEX® Pro 3L fabrics construct for you a super tough bib that won't leave you soaked when hitting deep powder days. Reinforced with Keprotec™ patches at the instep and Cordura® PowderCuffs™ with gripper elastic, you're further protected from snow and the sharp edges of boots and ski edges. Articulation through the knees and a gusseted crotch make the bib-style all the much easier to move in, plus the overlapping of bib and jacket keeps snow from hitting your lower back. Adjustable suspenders and WaterTight™ side zips facilitate entry and exit when you're in a hurry. Tuck the essentials into one of the four pockets and take in the mountain air.

Products on Sale are Discontinued Styles or Colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally a tough ski pant with pockets! I've only had the Stinger bibs for one season now in Alaska but so far I'm very impressed with them. I took a one week ski trip to Utah and had a few very close calls with pine trees. I was skiing fast over a rollover and didn't see a grouping of trees and veered left and had a very strong glancing blow off the tree with my ski-pants. I heard a horrible sound and was sure that the pants would be ripped and ruined. I skied down to the bottom and not a mark was on them other than some sap and tree transfer. Very tough pants. I'm very impressed! Great fit, water proof etc, but was most impressed at the tough build of the pants. I"d buy them again in a heartbeat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome pant! I’m kind of surprised by a previous review here saying that these pants don’t last, and I felt compelled to respond as I’ve had completely the opposite experience. After 4 … or 5?... fairly hard 30-40 day seasons my Stingers still look almost new – granted I’m not using them on a sled. But I love them for both downhill and ski touring: the big side zips are easy to dump heat, the shape of the leg and knee make them super comfortable for skinning uphill, and I’ve never been wet (assuming I remember to do up those side zips on the way down!). The thigh pockets are super handy too, although the upper pockets are too out of the way for me to use much, but a good place to keep the car keys safe. Highly recommended, despite the high price. The way these are going I’ll get another 5 or more years out of them, so worth the initial outlay…

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect... Stinger bibs- spendy, but awesome. I have had these bibs for several seasons. They have seen uphills, downhills, ice climbing, snow climbing, stupid, nasty weather and all the rest. They have withstood all of the abuse and look no worse for wear. My only "complaint" might be that the crotch gusset somehow be stretchy. Not sure how that could be accomplished and keep them as bombproof, but would be nice. Overall, minor issue. These bibs have been worth every penny and never let me down. Get them, you won't be sorry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My go-to snow pants I've been using my Stinger bibs for about 3 months now for skiing and they've been absolutely fantastic. I love the abrasion resistance of the Cordura as well as the shell fabric. I honestly don't think I can find a complain about these bibs, they've served me incredibly well so far to the point that I have no problem throwing them on in the morning on a ski day and keeping them on until I get home in the evening - something I've never done with other pants I've used. The big thigh pockets are perfect for storing just about anything you need to access quickly and the zipper pulls are big enough to grab even with my mittens on which is a huge plus. The suspenders are kind of a puzzle to adjust at first but when you get them just right they stay put: mine haven't loosened yet, another problem I've had with bibs past. Bottom line - Arc nailed these bibs. Get a pair.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pants proving fragile Less than a month ago I received my new Stinger bibs. The durability of these pants is not standing up to what I have become accustomed to from Arcteryx products. After only 5(!) ski touring day trips I have multiple cuts in my pants, including a large one in the bum. (photos uploaded) I can't stress enough how little use these pants have seen up to this point. The only seat they see is on my snowmachine and in my truck. There has been nothing abnormal about my days of touring or the job I expect these pants to do. Many days of touring are going to involve some branches and small trees getting in your face. As well as the edges of your skis or board touching your pants at times. I expect my pants and jacket to be able to deal with it. These pants are simply not standing up. Previous Arcteryx products I owned were made with the XCR goretex and I got over a decade of heavy use. Actually more 'abuse' than use. They were worth the money. These pants? Not so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bomber Good fit (6'2" 205 lbs), no pant saggin' cuffs gettin' caught in bindings, draggin' thru the mud goin' on. Good pocket selection, size and zips. Warm as h*ll (you gotta know how to layer!), kidneys and lower torso/back very warm with the bib. So sad to have torn a hole in the front pocket with a drill, couple other minor scrapes/tears from skiing and course work. Worth every penny.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good product quality...needs beefier snap I bought this product as a second choice to the Stinger pant. I never thought I would own a bib but this one fits well. I ski 25-30 days a season...mostly resort with some hiking and skinning This seemed like the perfect choice. The bib is light and the materials have worked great for this purpose. My only complaint, and it is a pretty major one, is that the top, front snap pops open in compressed landings from jumps. I thought it was a fluke the first few times it happened...I thought I had forgotten to adjust the shoulder straps...but no, the snap just flies open, which is a pain in the axx when you have two or three layers over the shoulder straps. I'm sure I am not the only one with this complaint.... Probably an easy fix, just a bigger more secure snap on top.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good stuff!! Got these for an Xmas gift. Awwesooome!! Had an older pair (15 yrs of hard skiing), different model, and they were still pretty good, but now that I have a new set...I can't say enough about Arcteryx's quality. Yes, a little pricey, but after 15 yrs, I am going to buy another pair of Arcteryx. I tele-ski and have not so much as a mark on the cuffs. Zippers still functional. Unreal. Get them if you can!!

Next to Skin Fit - These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Garments in this fit category when constructed using Arc'teryx's heavier-weight AR and SV fabrics also perform very well as mid layer pieces, and users should consider selecting a larger size to accommodate a base layer underneath if the intention is to use this layering system as a mid layer option.

Trim Fit - Trim-fitted garments share the motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx "Athletic" fit garments, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. These close-fitting pieces layer well under other garments.

Athletic Fit - This is the "Arc'teryx Standard" fit. These complete patterns utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion by minimizing excess bulk. Easy layering under or over each item extends seasonal versatility and comfort.

Relaxed Fit - Relaxed fit garments rely on higher volume patterns and a reduced amount of articulation to offer roomy mobility.

Expedition Fit - Cut roomier than the Arc'teryx Athletic fit and suitable for winter/extreme conditions, Expedition (XPD) fit garments are cut larger to accommodate multiple layers without binding or restricting movement.

• You can find the fit type and additional fit info for Arc'teryx styles in the product description FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS.
