Product Description Item No.   10002295

The Arc'teryx Arro 22 Backpack is a commuter daypack for school, work, and travel. The Arro is super durable and highly water-resistant, so you don't have to worry if it starts to sprinkle on your bike ride to the office. The main pocket features a sleeve, ready to carry up to a 15 inch laptop, or a hydration bladder on your weekend hike. The minimalist style of this pack won't have organizational pockets, but the front kangaroo pocket is ready to handle a rain jacket or extra layer. Dual density shoulder straps are cush against the shoulders and a webbing hipbelt prevents it from bouncing around when in a hurry.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pack, but the strap seams let go after awhile I love this daypack, I use it mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding etc. It's weak link though is the seams on the shoulder straps after awhile start to let go. I've had two of them now and both have been back to Arcteryx once for new straps and the first one is in need of repair again.,,,,Now I use the pack a lot, and it's my favorite daypack I've found so far, so it's well worth the shipping cost to have them repaired. I was however disappointed to see that while Arcteryx was more than willing to repair it at no cost, they have not updated the straps to fix the issue, so it's still a reoccurring problem after extended use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Make sure this is really what you're looking for This bag is clearly constructed of quality materials and it has a really good feel to it. The shoulder straps are extremely comfortable and spaced well. As well as it's made, it really did not suit my needs for a few reasons. First off, the bag is wide at the bottom but very narrow towards the top (this is somewhat opposite of the design of the Osprey Focus). The main compartment has a decent amount of room, but I think a large portion of the pack's carrying capacity is in the kangaroo pocket. The problem with this is the kangaroo pocket is anything but waterproof. At the bottom of the kangaroo pocket's zipper is a stow that serves as a perfect water cup and it directs falling water right in

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well designed, well made Excellent backpack for everyday use, or even one day hikes. I often use it to carry 14" laptop and also dlsr with just enough space to fit hardshell and all the other EDC things. There are also two side pockets, which I usually use just for small things that can get wet in case it rains. In general the pack looks small, but just a little bit of skill you can pack quite a load of things in it. Materials are top notch and overall it feels very solid and almost indestructible. The outer shell is thick and waterproof so rain is not a problem - all the things in main pocket stay nicely dry. What I really like is the shoulder padding which makes carrying it pure joy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great design, but not ideal for laptop While it's beautiful (usual for Arc'teryx), I'm having a hard time with the 'fits a 15" laptop' claim as it implies it's designed to carry said laptop.,,,,Here's where you may/may not agree with me: yes, it fits a 15" laptop. It can also fit a couple loaves of bread & this is equally as apt a feature bullet point because a laptop would just knock around unsecured inside. ,,,,I argue that if your marketing copy boasts 'fits a 15" laptop', there must be a pocket within the bag designed to both pad & secure it - as a bag purported to be used for carrying a laptop should not, on it's own, offer the high likelihood of damaging it just because the bag was set down a smidge too hard on a cement floor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great backpack, period. Pros: Durability, Weatherproofing, Customer Service, Looks,,Cons: Price maybe?,,,,I'm 5' 9" 170lbs and this bag fits perfectly on my back without being too large or unwieldy fully laden.,,,,I've had this bag for 2 years and it's still in top condition. I've used it as a daypack for hiking, snowbag for skiing trips, and for school and everything else in between. For reference, this can fit a 15" MBP with two to three large legal textbooks in the main compartment.,,,,Everything has held up from normal use minus the varnish on the heavy duty zips as the brass shows through now, it's kinda cool if you ask me.,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best daypack made I have owned 2 arro 16 and 1 - 20. I wish they made the 16 as it was a perfect city day pack - 99% waterproof- indestructae and excellent load carrying. I have worn it climbing- biking- boarding almost every activity outside and inside. Well not EVERY inside activity. Seriously the absolute best day pack you can buy. PLEASE BRING BACK THE 16 and I'll by another 2!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best backpack I own I fell in love with this bag after a single day. It has everything I need and more. There is enough space to fit a 15" laptop (although there is no desighned sleeve it still fits nicely in the bag), there are two seperate compartments one being water proof and the other having drainage holes to let water escape if it ever became flooded. The thermaformed back is unbelievably comfortable, that along with the extremely sturdy shoulder straps allows you to carry the weight for long periods of time without getting sore. The bag is also ridiculously tough I have used it for a year now and it still looks in perfect condition with no rips what so ever. There is also a hydration pouch that I have yet to use, but it is a nice bonus. Finally the design of the bag is beautiful, I have received many compliments on it and I love the blend between city style and outdoor practicality, that I find all Arc'teryx products to posses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellant backpack Took this pack across the US for day hicks and city adventures. Very good quality and the flexibility to use whatever bladder you want is a great feature. I also like the fact it is simple without all of the straps and unnecessary pockets that other packs have.

- + Size Guide

Hipbelt Sizing
SIZE Small Medium Large
Men's 27 - 32" 32 - 37" 37 - 42"
Women's 25 - 30" 27 - 32" 30 - 35"

How to Find Your Foot Measurements

Arc'teryx packs are sized either in 3-length options: Short (S), Regular (R) and Tall (T), or in 2-length options: Short/Regular (SR), and Regular/Tall (RT).

Sizing refers to YOUR OWN BACK LENGTH

Measure your Back:

• Measure along the spine between the 7th cervical vertebra and the level of the hip iliac crest
• Compare this measurement to the Sizing Charts
• It is possible to interchange different size shoulder strap and hipbelt components on many Arc'teryx Packs, but this will not change or affect the back-length of the pack.
