Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight Like Flying Pigs Before the kit, I used poison ivy to treat my wounds. It never worked. Now I can finally use this kit for wounds without adding much to my pack; which is a good thing because another ounce would break my spine. Another pro is the kit being waterproof. It can survive my sweaty back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good to have They cram a lot of stuff into this small pouch which is nice. My only problem i had is that the outer pouch got a small tear in it after only a couple of uses, that and the fact that buying this jinxed me. First trip out with this i my knee got messed up and needed to use the bandage to hold it together and my buddys new boots decided to detach themselves from the sole after only two days hiking, so that duct tape was put to immediate use as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best lightweight medical kit on the market I use this on the AT trail and have never needed much more than what was offered in this kit. This pack it comes in is durable and has withstood 3 seasons of serious backcountry use. It includes everything you would need to do your basic backcountry medical treatments. Also includes some duct tape for some impromptu gear repair if necessary. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Packaging Light - i carry this whenever i go camping or snowboarding.,,,,while it doesn't have everything it does have enough items to keep safe.,,,,i do suggest to purchase other items that will fit inside the nice kit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would Recommend for Back Country, with a few tweaks to suit your environtment I have had this product for over a month now, and have owned a previous one. It is a great kit that is well rounded to typical first aid needs. I tweak mine whenever I go out, depending on the situation. When backcountry trekking, I bring a QuikClot for big emergencies and maybe an extra Foot Medic kit from them as well. It all fits in one bag, best part! Have tested the water proof; floats pretty well, and everything stays dry! All and all, i would recommend, just tweak it to really make it your own

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good base kit. I supplemented this with a big stick of after-bite and some water treatment pills. So far has been great - my girlfriend used this to bandage up someone at a horse show when their toe got run over by a truck before he got further treatment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great kit but... I love this kit. It has everything to treat minor injuries. The only problem I have with the kit is that the zipper to the inner waterproof bag is terrible. It does not hold very well. I have to zip it closed several times as I'm trying to put it back in the outer bag and even then I'm not certain it's closed. This is kind of essential for it to be waterproof so it loses 1 star on quality for this

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These sacks are not These sacks are not completely watooprerf . I would not use them to protect a pda or cell phone when out canoeing. However, they are fairly water resistant, great for putting a wet bathing suit into or to keep your packed clothing dry in a drizzle. They have a stiff flat metal piece across the top, you fold the top over a few times and click the buckle to fasten. The green one is large enough for a pair of large size (mens 11) adult shoes. The orange one will fit a mens t shirt, a pair of shorts and some socks with a little stuffing. The blue one is good for toiletries.Overall, great for the price, but not a something I would trust to keep my electronics dry during a dip in the river.
