I was born and raised in NW Missouri. I love being outside - fishing, camping, playing Cornhole, and taking float trips with friends. When I am not working, you can probably find me hanging with my dog Moscato, cleaning hot wings to the bone, or enjoying a tasty drink at Fringe Beerworks (not so shameless plug). If the movie is considered dumb, I can quote it. I am the self-proclaimed best storyteller of all time. So come by the Plaza Moosejaw to give me your best restaurant/beer suggestion or to listen to one of my ignorantly great stories!

Jackets
In our Kansas City shop, you will find a wide variety of jackets from Arc'teryx, The North Face and many others. We only carry brands that we know you'll love. A different occasion calls for a different jacket is what I always say. From down-full length jackets for those cold days, to waterproof shells on the rainy days, and light-weight fleeces on the "I don't really need a jacket, do I?" days, we cover all the bases. Here's a thought I'm going to leave you with- in the right mindset, all food is finger-food. Am I right?
Footwear
Moosejaw carries a huge selection of footwear, from trail to track we will find exactly what you're looking for. It's safe to assume that we only carry the best brands. I don't get why people say, "You know what they say when you assume something..." and then they never finish their sentence. So annoying. Anyways, we carry brands like Keen, Merrell, Reef, and Vibram Five Fingers are just a few examples of the brands that we carry at the Kansas City shop. The secret to snowshoeing is patience. If you wait long enough the snow can melt and you can go regularshoeing.
Climbing
I went climbing once and forgot to bring my rollerblades. My mom to me I shouldn't worry about it, but how was I supposed to climb without my lucky rollerblades? It was rough. Anyways, our Kansas City shop houses some of the top brands like Black Diamond, Metolius, Petzl, and Sterling. We've got you covered for wherever you may be going to climb. From harnesses to helmets our Kansas City shop staff will make sure you have all the necessities. Except rollerblades, you're on your own for those. Good luck trying to find a pair like mine.
Backpacking
The Moosejaw shop in Kansas City carries some of the best looking backpacks around. If you want my opinion, they are even better looking than my girlfriend at times. Don't tell her I said that. With brands like The North Face, Osprey, and Gregory ...how could they not be beautiful? Those curves on the packs will give you chills, not to mention what's inside. For example, there's a hidden compartment in one of the Osprey backpacks that I have, I've only been able to find it once. Luckily, I didn't put anything important in there. Just my house keys. Message me if you find the compartment I'm talking about, it's getting cold out here.
Clothing
Since we've opened our Moosejaw shop, Kansas City has quickly grown in population. Coincidence? I don't really know. Anyways, we've got something for everyone. Yoga jackets by Prana, and baselayers by Icebreaker. Whether you're going for a hike to clear your head or to the bar because your boss just drew on your arm, stop in the Kansas City Moosejaw shop and we will outfit you from head to toe and make your day a little brighter. Or, we will just shoot a dart at your head and make your day a whole lot worse. Sorry ahead of time.
