About Women's Water and Amphibious Shoes:
Don’t worry. These shoes aren’t made out of water, so they aren’t just going to ruin your socks and then dry up and disappear. They are fast drying though, which is great because that is one of the most important things to look for in a pair of women’s water shoes.
The best pairs of women’s water shoes aren’t just fast drying though. Ideally you want to find a pair of water shoes that is comfortable, durable and fashionable just in case you run into any cute guys when you are out on the boat or kayak. It may not be super high on your list of things that you like to have boys compliment you on, but I met a really sweet hunk when I was doing some sea kayaking and I still totally blushed when he said that he thought my water shoes were cute.
That’s right, I said it, women’s water shoes aren’t just for looking out of place at formal occasions. They are awesome for kayaking, canoeing, boating and log rolling competitions. Water shoes have durable soles that are super helpful if you end up in the water. The last thing you want to happen if you’ve just flipped your kayak on a river is to slice your foot open on a rock. Sorry for the semi graphic example but that’s just what’s on the line. Not having a big cut in your foot is one of my favorite things to do when I am out enjoying the wilderness, it really reduces how fast I go through first aid supplies and makes sure that I’m not racking up minutes on my emergency satellite phone.
