"Fashionable and yet... functionable" 12/03/10

These shoes not only look good but they are tough! Thay can kick the @#%&$% out of any other fashionable shoe that gets in its path. They are the type of shoes that you could be wearing when your in the mood to just prop your feet up on an ottoman and watch the game, or wearing when you see a mountain path and you just HAVE to go up it, knowing you can do it with confidence with these bad babies.

"Will not disappoint!!!" 02/01/10

I purchased the Mantra almost two years ago. I wear them daily and have used them here in Montana and Alaska, literally putting on thousands upon thousands of miles. The bottom line..... they still remain as comfortable as the day I bought them although they don't look as pretty. I will wear them until they cannot be worn and then I will get another pair. Probably the best shoe purchase that I have ever made.

"Awesome hikers" 07/10/08

I got these shoes for a trip to the Tetons and Yellowstone. They tore it up! Great traction on rocks, dirt and gravel. Also, although they are not considered waterproof, they kept my feet dry on a long hike through a swampy meadow. Great shoes for everyday as well.

"Great shoe!" 07/01/08

I think the deion for this shoe was a light use shoe good for strolling the farmer's market and day-hikes. First day I used them was a 20-mile mountain bike ride with several stream crossings and rock hazards, the folloiwng day was a 15-mile hike. The shoes held up great for both adventures and were quite comfortable considering they hadn't been broken in yet. I am planning on wearing them for a week long trek along the Colorado Trail.

"Great shoe for hiking or everyday." 04/11/08

I got these shoes for casual and everyday wear, but I cac see them holding up for any hike I might throw at them. They are sturdy, mostly weatherproof, and they have a great sole and laces. They took about a week to form to my feet but now they are very comfy.

"Top notch low cut hiker!" 10/29/07

This light weight hiker was an A+ right out of the box. Comfortable, breathable, well made and great looking shoes. Plenty of wiggle room in the toe box. I have worn these shoes on several hikes this Fall already and they have become my favorite shoes in its class
