"Pleasantly surprised and can't beat the price."
I bought these tools as an impulse buy to have a more technical tool in addition to my BD Vipers. The Raptors are not as sticky and solid as the Vipers in pure waterfall ice, because of the aggressive mixed pick angle, but I found this to be manageable even on steep ice. Either way, I have more fun climbing with the double grips and the swing suits me better -- and Trango now has a second pick available with a less aggressive angle. I'll either keep these as my dedicated mixed/dry tools or get rid of the Vipers altogether and get those the new ice picks. There was some torn-through rubber on the top pinky rest on my first day out, but I fixed it with some seamgrip. (Similar, but more expensive, tools from other manufacturers seem to have a metal cap on the rest to avoid tearing up the rubber.) You won't regret getting these tools at this price, though.
