The North Face Women's Resolve is a waterproof rain jacket that can easily transition from everyday use around town, to the backcountry when crappy weather arrives. The Resolve jacket is made with nylon ripstop HyVent 2L fabric that is mesh lined and features seam sealed construction. The attached hood is adjustable and stows in the collar, and the hem cinch cord and Velcro closure front zip help keep out even that sideways rain garbage. North Face designed this jacket with a standard fit so it fits great over baselayers and midlayers. On average, the Resolves weigh in around 16.5 ounces.

I had been looking for a rain coat for a while and could not make a decision. I finally gave in and decided to just buy one and I could return it if needed. There was no way I was going to return this coat once I saw it and started wearing it. The color is one of my favorite parts. I purchased the parlour purple option. The contrast between the teal and purple is adorable. I have worn it on both rainy and windy days. It keeps both out. I followed the sizing guide and got a small. It fits easily over a sweatshirt but is not too big. The sleeves are long enough and it covers about half my butt. I have received so many compliments and would definitely recommend this jacket.
This jacket is perfect for rainy walks with my dog and keeps everything under it completely dry. One word of caution: the Velcro strips are very strong, so it's best to keep them fastened when not in use. They've attached to the mesh lining inside and also to a scarf I was wearing.
"Love this jacket! I got it in miami orange "light coral" if you ask me. It's perfect for a rainy"
Love the color I got it in (miami orange) it's not so much of an orange it's more of a light coral. I am 5'2" 110lb and ordered a size small. I wish I would have ordered an extra small because the sleeves are a little too long and a little loose on the waist but I loved it so much I didn't want to return it. this jacket is perfect for a rainy day or snow but not a blizzard. if wanting to wear it on a cold winter day I recommend layering up! overall awesome jacket and have gotten lots of compliments
I have used this jacket for rainy hikes and rainy days around town. It has held up well and is truly waterproof. Love the grey color. One thing I wasn't so big on was the velcro over the zipper. Overall a great rain jacket.
I'm trying to replace my old (same style) resolve jacket. This jacket fit more snug all over so order a size up. I love this jacket and wear it all the time, that's why I'm re-purchasing same style. Hope this helps future buyers!
I wanted a modern day yellow rain jacket. After searching online for months, I stumbled across the North Face Resolve jacket. The lightening yellow color caught my eye and after reading many reviews, I decided to give it a try. Rarely am I disappointed with North Face products. This jacket did not fall short of my expectations. It is perfect for those crappy days out. Especially with the hood, it gives the jacket the extra touch it needs to keep you dry in the wet and cold weather. Highly recommend to those looking for a rain coat!
Bought this as a present for my teen daughter. She kept stealing my plum colored one, so I knew I needed to get her one! We bought the frosty blue color - and She LOVES this jacket! It's a great price too. I bought mine about 4 years ago and the quality and slimming style is still there - thank you for keeping it the same! This is great to layer under in the fall and spring and even great for summer rains. It's a great wind resistant jacket too. Can't say enough. These are our favorites.
Received these nice, attractive, lightweight jackets yesterday during our windy, 40F day, complete with snow flurries. Our jackets kept out the wind, but we needed to add extra layers beneath the jacket to keep warm. These jackets should be great in warmer weather, but we recommend that potential buyers consider up-sizing to accommodate additional layers and extend wearing season. Zippers can (and did) catch on the protective rain flaps, so we'll just have to be careful zipping and unzipping...easy enough. Nice styling, and the jackets seem well-designed and well-made (though I'd have added velcro wrist-bands, since the garments' elastic wristbands could possibly stretch out. Could still add velcro tape if/when the elastic did stretch out. Nice jackets, looking forward to enjoying them.
