I own several Redpoint jackets, which I use primarily for trad climbing. They are far more durable than any of my down jackets, and I have only had to patch my oldest one once after using it for ~2 years. It's somewhat of a pain to cram the jacket into it's own pocket; using a small stuff sack is more convenient. I hope that TNF continues to make this jacket for many more years.
I bought this jacket for my daughter for Christmas. She doesn't like anything too puffy. She loves it. Finally she'll wear a real jacket in Chicago windy city winters.
I've been in temperatures as low as 40s with this jacket with only a single thermal underneath and it did a great job keeping me warm. I've spend nights below freezing with this jacket in my sleeping bag and was kept warm. It has pull cords along the bottom to keep cold air out. The shape is really flattering without being uncomfortable. I have somewhat broad shoulders so sometimes I don't have enough flexibility with my arm movements in jackets but I this one is super comfortable and allows for lots of movement. I got a small and I'm 5'6" 130 lbs. My only complaint is that the sleeves could stand to be just a bit longer but it's not a big issue. Overall super stoked.
