The North Face Women's Khumbu 2 Jacket is a 300 weight fleece for everyday activities, hiking, and resting fireside. The Khumbu 2 is made of heavyweight 100% polyester fleece to provide a cozy warmth, whether you wear it as a mid-layer or outer layer depending on the season or weather. The relaxed fit allows you to wear it over t-shirt or long sleeve with room to move, while still throwing a hard shell over top. It is even zip-in compatible with certain jackets by The North Face, so you can add warmth whenever you please. Falling to the hip, the hem has a cinch-cord to block drafts while elastic cuffs stay close to your wrists for the same reason. Did you know the Khumbu region is in northeastern Nepal? It's all about Everest, baby.

Deft recommend this. I myself own one, so does my mom, sister, aunt, etc, etc. Everyone should treat themselves to one of this comfortable cozy and warm jackets. They run true to size and you cant beat the price
I searched high and low for "the" North Face jacket to fit my needs this winter. I wanted something cozy, soft, warm, and not too fitted. After trying many styles - because they are all just a smidge different from each other - I bought this one. I knew the second I put it on that it was the one. The fit is slightly relaxed, but not boxy. The fleece is thicker than most other styles, but that means it is also a bit warmer. I can wear it on a mild winter day with a scarf and feel comfy as I run errands, but I am not overheated indoors. The Parlor Purple is true to what is shown on the site and is not only a nice switch from the TNF Black, but means there is a much lower chance of my husband and I coming downstairs in matching outfits.
A more affordable jacket than the Denali, this alternative TNF fleece jacket fits true to size and keeps you super toasty. I put this under my snowboard shell jacket and I'm sweaty after a few runs. Serviceable to keep the wind at bay...
