These gloves fit perfectly and work really well with my electronic devices. I was debating between ordering the Small and Medium and opted to order the Medium. My ring finger is a size 7. Gloves fit comfortably with room to bend and move without feeling too tight or too loose. Pretty much the Goldilocks of gloves.
I fell in love with these gloves while working a job that required a lot of outdoor time while, alas i am (for the most part) an indoor cat. So as i was remarking how very happy i was that i had managed to keep these gloves without losing them for the first 1/2 of the gig. apparently i did not knock wood in time and BAM! The right one went missing...i was crushed but figured i would move on. Not so said the north face glove gods!! No other gloves were the same hugging fit the same warmth while lending dexterity! I had to invest in another pair. So i did and so I lived happily ever after!Suebee
I saw the other reviews about these gloves running big and ordered a xs. They fit perfect. They kept me nice and warm. I think on a bitter cold windy day I might feel it a bit, but overall these are great. Highly recommend.
TNF Etips are certainly warmer than the cotton one-size only stretchy cotton gloves that many girls wear. The Etip Gloves are warmer and provide better coverage but still give you plenty of dexterity to do normal tasks like unlocking the door, attaching the dog leash, etc. I thought only the one finger was iPhone compatible but each finger is! Big ups on that one. The whole glove works really well with touchscreens. I definitely wouldn't choose this glove for mountaineering or an entire day out in the snow, but it is great for everyday wear around town or campus. I actually like that the gloves buckle together. The black color is super sexy.
"I love these gloves but they seem to run big!"
I actually got these gloves for free when I ordered a North Face Thermoball jacket, They surprisingly have kept my hands toasty warm in the 30 degree weather we have had so far this winter. My only negative thing about these gloves is they run big. I am a petite 5'3 and got the size small my there is so much extra room in the finger tips I can't really use my phone while wearing them, I just ordered the kids large and hopefully those will fit better.
With the harsh winter in Chicago this past year I needed to use my gloves everyday and although it was better than not wearing any at all, the brutal winds went right through the material. I loved that i could keep them on to use my phone but overtime I ended up having to double up on gloves and so that feature ended up not being useful.
They look cute, and are comfy to wear. But don't count on them keeping your hands very warm, better to wear under a real pair of gloves that don't work with your phone. Take the thicker gloves off and at least you still have these on while you use your phone.
I loved the color and it fits perfectly! These gloves are not so warm, but the size is perfect to my small hands (I never find gloves that fit) and the color is beautiful. I also recommend the black ones.
How long do you expect a pair of TNF gloves to last you? Considering price and quality of their products I expected these gloves to last years! This is my second winter with these gloves purchased from Moosejaw.com and they are now worthless. When I first received these gloves I was ecstatic to have such a nice, form fitting everyday glove to wear for driving. They worked for a little while, and then all of a sudden the threads on the index finger where the e-tip is located started to unravel and fray. The whole purpose of this glove is so I could use it on my phone and now I can't. Furthermore, they don't keep your hands warm. Sure they take the edge off but even walking my daughter into school from the parking lot I felt like my fingers were being frostbitten. Save your money and find a reasonably priced e-tip glove. This one is not worth the money.
