"Great Vest" 02/24/13

I love this vest. It holds its shape nicely & looks great with a button-down underneath. The size was true & the quality is outstanding, as expected from The North Face. Of course, excellent shipping & custy service from Moosejaw.

"Solid vest, warm and not too constricting" 12/05/11

Usually, I prefer to stay away from vests (cause it makes me feel like I'm trapped inside haha) but since I got this as a gift, I thought i'd take a chance and wear it around town. Its got a nice feel to it and lightweight enough so that I can layer it or wear as is without feeling encumbered. Also, I'm a big fan of its windstopping ability cause it does wonders when out on the lake in the fall. Overall, fantastic product for everyday (fall/winter/spring) wear.

"Solid Vest" 04/10/11

This vest is perfect for the days that you are not in the mood to grab a coat. Just throw this guy and you are good to go... except your arms might be a bit cold...

"Great all round vest." 03/25/11

So glad I bought this vest. I've had it for 2 years now and wear it every chance I get. This includes over my business shirt at work, as an extra layer under my waterproof jacket, it's even my trusty vest while climbing. All this wearing and it still looks like new. Excellent value for money.

"Better than expected!" 03/05/11

I got this to replace a heavier one by Helly-Hansen, and it completely outperforms the old one. Great combination of light weight, warmth, and windstopping ability - and cleans up like new. Good luck finding a better lightweight vest!

"Everyone should have this vest!" 02/11/11

I absolutely love this vest! I wear it everywhere I can. I live in Wisconsin and summer is about the only time I don't have it on. It stops the wind awesome and is surprisingly warm for a lightweight vest.

"Does everything is supposed to and looks good too!" 12/19/10

I live in northern Illinois and I absolutely hate Winter weather, especially wind. This vest is great at blocking the cold winter winds. I layer it over my lighter winter shirts and with my TNF Apex jacket it almost totally blocks out the wind, but this is only December so who knows. It's not going to be the vest for you if you are looking for supreme warmth, that it is not, but if you are looking to block the wind that it is. I've worn it almost every day and I get lots of complements on it and it washes well and so far is a quality piece.

"Solid windproof vest" 11/22/10

This is a pretty good fall weather vest. I wear it to work (in NYC) in 40-50 degree weather (with 5-10mph winds) over my dress shirt and it keeps me warm. I ordered a size too big but decided to keep it and give it to my mom and buy another, more-appriopriately sized one. definitely a keeper.
