"Light-weight, water-proof, and stylish!"
This jacket is perfect for spring and fall when flying solo. It is light-weight, stylish and water-proof with a lot of ventilation. It's also "zip-in" compatible with other North Face jackets. For instance, you can zip a denali jacket into this during winter to keep warm. Columbia inner jackets perfectly fit into this jacket, too if you have the same size (i.e. M for M, L for L). It's not so clear in the picture, but the jacket has a detachable hood with a string tightener in it.
