The North Face Men's Khumbu 2 Jacket is a 300 weight fleece for cool to cold weather hiking and general adventuring. The Khumbu 2 is a 100% polyester fleece jacket, with FlashDry technology built right in. The FlashDry helps wick moisture away from your body as you work up a sweat, and dries quickly so you can stay warm and comfortable. The heavyweight fleece works as a stand alone in cool weather and as a mid-layer under your hardshell when the winter cold arrives. It is even zip-in compatible with complementing jackets by The North Face. The hand pocket zip closed to prevent your snacks from falling out along the trail while the hem cord cinches to block drafts.

I made this purchase by taking advantage of a promotion on North Face products here on Moosejaw.com. I made the purchase on a Sunday night and received the jacket on my doorstep on Thursday. Pretty fast shipping in my book! The jacket fits as described in the fitting chart and the color is as shown. Overall I am extremely happy with the purchase and would recommend purchasing through Moosejaw to my friends!
"Good looking & Well made.....but ocassional fit problems."
I've been buying TNF fleece jackets and vests for well over 10 years. I started out wearing a medium but the fit changed a few years back and I now wear a large. The problem is that on any given purchase a large may be a bit loose, be just right or - as with this latest garment - almost tight. This jacket comes dangerously close to being a "fitted" jacket, especially under the arms. Wearing anything under this garment other than a shirt and maybe a very lightweight vest will make me look like a pillow. I will keep it and use it on days or evenings when I don't need heavier outerwear. Just wish TNF would find a universal pattern and make sure all their manufacturers utilize the same ones.
