Hit the slopes and hit them hard. Fall as many times as you want. Get back up and then fall again.... almost the entire way down the mountain. With the North Face Men's Freedom Insulated Pant you can slip and tumble while your body stays cozy and warm. These pants will also suit you even if you don't fall, but what's the fun in that? The Heatseeker insulation will trap warm air close to your body, even when wet. The HyVent® exterior can take a beating while still keeping out the moisture (with the help of the Chimney Venting™ system). So whether you shred the slopes like a pro, or tumble your way down like me, the Freedom Insulated pants will suit your needs.
FEATURES of The North Face Men's Freedom Insulated Pant
“Freeeeedom!” shouts King Leonidas in the film 300 – it was a horrible misrepresentation of history, but as long as we’re misrepresenting history, why not shoot the sequel in Alaska, with all the Spartan spearmen dressed in North Face Freedom Pants? I can think of no more comfortable garment in which to be hammered by snow, ice, and the steaming blood of my enemies. The construction and materials are much higher-quality than my other insulated pants, and I’m hoping to get years of use out of them. That said, I really do wish that the fit was a little more athletic, and I keep hoping that someday someone will invent snow pants that don’t make me sound like a hobo wearing a garbage bag full of crinkled-up newspapers.
well insulated pants, had a pair last season bought another pair for this season in a different color. pants have vents in the inner thigh area that can be zipped or unzipped for those warmer days. the pockets have fairly easy access but i never really use the pockets because my jacket has all sorts of pockets. they were true to size and fit just right, i was bordering on getting the long but ended up with the regular and they fit just right
I got these pants for snowboarding and they've worked out well. They are a little thicker than other brands of insulated pants--which can be good and bad. Also, I'm 5'10 and got the regular length...and they are a tad bit long and go over my bindings. But other than that, they are comfortable, flexible and keep you warm.
I got these pants last year and have spent the entire winter season skiing in them. These pants are warm and very durable. The best thing about these pants is that you don't need any layer underneath them. I have used these in negative temperatures with no additional layer. Get them!
