"Great for texting, not so great for keeping my hands warm!"
I have had these gloves for about a year and do think they're pretty great... I can text and browse on my phone almost as easily as I if I were using my bare hands, they're just not very warm! In colder temperatures I would definitely prefer to have toasty fingers as opposed to being able to check my news feed, but maybe we have different priorities? I think these are great for the fall months and for use in the car, but definitely not as my primary set of winter gloves!
"Great glove for an active/techy person!"
I bought these gloves for my daughter who always has her phone in hand! I wanted to make sure she could stay warm and still be able to use her phone; normally only one wins! These gloves are working out perfectly. They are a snug fit so they feel really comfortable and they're warm enough for her to wear outside in the cold Michigan weather. If she were going to go sledding, snowboarding these gloves would need an added layer. But just for normal everyday wear these are perfect! The grip in the palm area makes it easy to hold on to your phone and the Etip works great!
I originally got these to have for some cold mornings morning while camping in the fall. They are comfortable and warm enough, except when they get wet (rolling up a dew covered tent for example) but they would dry reasonably quickly. Though they didn't quite meet all my camping needs, they are my favorite gloves for around the city because they are comfortable and the Etip really works very well. Some other gloves with touch screen compatibility that I have had required me to push pretty hard to get the touch screen to respond or would have only a small patch that is never quite where you want it making it impossible to type in both cases. With these, the entire palm and finger is functional, I can use my phone and tablet exactly as though I wasn't wearing gloves. They also keep out the Western New York fall chill, especially from cold steering wheels.
