The North Face Boys' Denali Hoodie is a heavyweight fleece for racing through the woods and even walking to school. The 100% polyester fleece is toasty warm for fall and when paired with a hardshell jacket provides added warmth through the winter. It's zip-in compatible with complimenting garments from The North Face, dual purpose insulator. The hood, shoulders, chest, and elbows feature nylon Taslan for abrasion-resistance so he can climb trees, conquer the playground, and play soccer with wild abandon. A durable water repellent finish deters light moisture from soaking into the face fabric so he has time to scamper home before the skies unleash a hard rain. Zipper pockets secure a house key so it won't end up in the lost and found.

"The ONLY Jacket my 10 year old son will wear! (even though he has a NIKE and ZeroXposure)"
My son was given his first North Face Denali Jacket when he was eight. This was a necessity since his eleven year old sister and fourteen year old brother also were given their North Face jackets as Christmas gifts that year. Now my son just turned ten and has outgrown the size 7-8. He has 2 perfectly fine winter jackets he can wear: a reversible NIKE jacket with a removable hood. It is not at all big and bulky. The other ZeroXposure one is the 3-in-1 kind where you can unzip the outer heavier coat (which is a bit bulky but great for snowy days.)... He got it last year and really needed it with the winter we had in Pennsylvania. But no...he insisted on the North Face Denali jacket....snow, rain, wind, It didn't matter. It was perfect. His first request for Christmas this year is a NEW North Face Denali jacket 'with a hood' if you can get one'. I ordered the M 8-10 Boys Snorkel Blue Hoodie this time and I can't wait to see his face on Christmas morning! Thank you Moosejaw!
