DECENT FEATURES of the Sterling Rope Marathon Sport 10.4mm Rope
This rope is a work horse, Great sheath, not to heavy for the size, and flakes out well. Bottom line if you want a rope that is going to last and last for a long time this is your rope.
This rope is great for beginners and those who don't mind stretchy rope. Being a large rope, this rope is proned to being stretchy. It is still a very nice rope.
I use this rope for anything from rappelling to lead routes. I got it in the 60m dry and love it. Super stoked about it, grab it on sale while you can and get climbing!
"My first rope, and it was a great choice!!"

I got into rock climbing this past fall, and bought this one on sale at the end of the climbing season. I got to use it a couple of times before the snow came, and it works great. The bi-color is especially helpful when repelling. I got the 60 meter, and its a good choice, can climb anything up to 30 meters tall. I really recommend this rope, one cannot go wrong!
Just got my rope the other day and took it out to the rock for a test drive. I love the way this rope handles, its smooth and also is not too stiff which helps allot with an ATC device you get the perfect amount of breakage with it. Its also an easy rope to get naughts out which is a big plus for your hands after a hard day of climbing where you cant even feel your hands.anyone looking for a good intermediate climbing rope should buy this one.
This is my second rope and love it so far. I have only had two climbing trips on it and was initially worried that the increase in diameter, from 9.8mm, would have an effect on weight and rope drag. So far I haven't had any problems and didn't notice a difference at all besides a little weight. This rope is definitely worth a try!
nice rope, can hable lots of abuse.but, why dont you show the specs on this rope?? i own the rope and wanted to show the specs to a friend, and i noticed that they do not appear on the webpage....
