"Perfect for watching hockey at the rink!"
These are some serious winter boots! I haven't worn them outside yet, considering it's August, but can't wait to wear them to all of my son's hockey games. Winter in the Midwest can be horrible, so I hope these boots will live up to the name "Arctic"!
These are probably a good choice for you if you want something stylish or if you want to keep your feet reasonably warm. However, I found that the construction of these boots was inferior to that of the "premium" joan of arctic boots. This can be seen looking at the boots side by side (I got both pairs because I'm me), but is most noticeable when it comes to usage. These boots age and wear much more quickly. Overall, I would suggest the premium boots over these.
These are amazing, warm, comfortable, and waterproof. OH and they're cute! I receive so many compliments on them every time I wear them! They are comfortable enough to wear during an entire work day when it's snowy outside. They are also the perfect boot for snowshoeing since they will keep your feet and ankles warm and dry. I have a narrow heel and they are still a little difficult to get on/off...kind of like a ski boot. They run very large- I ordered an entire size smaller than I typically wear and was so glad I did (thanks, fellow reviewers!). Worth every penny.
These boots are fashionable, warm, dry, and versatile. The liner comes out, so they can "air out" or they can be worn as a rain boot. They are comfortable enough to wear all day while walking around a college campus. Well worth the money!
I took these boots with me this winter on an ice fishing trip in Minnesota. It was between -10F to -25F every day. They held up great and kept my feet warm the entire time except during a three hour snowmobile ride. Then my feet turned to ice and I swear I may have gotten frostbite. SO, these are great for walking, fishing, playing in the snow, but not snowmobiling.
I put my foot inside and it hugged me like nothing else. These boots are so warm. They lace up easy, and tight, and they feel durable for the snow we get in Buffalo. Not only are they functional--they are SO SUPER CUTE!! I can't wait to try these out in the Alps this Christmas!
I love these boots, they warm, stylish, keep your feet dry and not to too heavy (if you have never worn snow boots scratch that because they will feel crazy stiff and heavy but not for long). My only complaint is that they are a bit hard to get off without unlacing all the way, which is no biggie.
I bought these for my fiancee for the winter and she loved them. No complaints in warmth or appearance. She did say that they felt like they were about a 1/2 size larger than her normal shoes. Have barely noticed any wear on them after a winter's worth of use.
