These are amazing, warm, comfortable, and waterproof. OH and they're cute! I receive so many compliments on them every time I wear them! They are comfortable enough to wear during an entire work day when it's snowy outside. They are also the perfect boot for snowshoeing since they will keep your feet and ankles warm and dry. I have a narrow heel and they are still a little difficult to get on/off...kind of like a ski boot. They run very large- I ordered an entire size smaller than I typically wear and was so glad I did (thanks, fellow reviewers!). Worth every penny.
These boots are fashionable, warm, dry, and versatile. The liner comes out, so they can "air out" or they can be worn as a rain boot. They are comfortable enough to wear all day while walking around a college campus. Well worth the money!
I took these boots with me this winter on an ice fishing trip in Minnesota. It was between -10F to -25F every day. They held up great and kept my feet warm the entire time except during a three hour snowmobile ride. Then my feet turned to ice and I swear I may have gotten frostbite. SO, these are great for walking, fishing, playing in the snow, but not snowmobiling.
I put my foot inside and it hugged me like nothing else. These boots are so warm. They lace up easy, and tight, and they feel durable for the snow we get in Buffalo. Not only are they functional--they are SO SUPER CUTE!! I can't wait to try these out in the Alps this Christmas!
I love these boots, they warm, stylish, keep your feet dry and not to too heavy (if you have never worn snow boots scratch that because they will feel crazy stiff and heavy but not for long). My only complaint is that they are a bit hard to get off without unlacing all the way, which is no biggie.
I bought these for my fiancee for the winter and she loved them. No complaints in warmth or appearance. She did say that they felt like they were about a 1/2 size larger than her normal shoes. Have barely noticed any wear on them after a winter's worth of use.
I just got these for an outdoor beer festival in Michigan and wore them for about 10 hours the day after I bought them. This was probably not the smartest move because they TORE UP the back of my ankles. I'm hopeful they will loosen up as I wear them, and again my issue could be that I wore them for so long for the very first time. Besides that, they fit great and absolutely do the job. I never once had cold feet, a first for me in boots. They are also fairly heavy, but as I got used to it that's one thing I liked about them. I usually wear an 8 and these fit pretty true; I do have some room in them, but with thick socks on I hardly notice.
I bought these boots in brown and didn't wear them right after I bought them because they were a little stiff. Once I started wearing them, they loosened up and became my favorite boots to wear. Sorel makes the best boots because they stay so dry in the deepest of snow. I am an 8.5 in basically every brand including this one.
I purchased these for my 17 year old daughter in the red color (Taffy). The biggest challenge is that these do not come in half sizes. You have to decide on to big or snug if your in the middle. In my experience with Sorel buy the smaller size if it is a comfortable snug, the liner will pack out.
