Great warmth, little stink.Mine have slowly been developing holes and pilling for a year or so since I bought them and I wonder how much longer they'll last. They just seem a bit fragile is all. They do require some specialized care (hand wash/woolite, air dry) and I don't always have patience for it. Take forever to dry as well. They're a little heavier than their synthetic counterparts and don't pack very small either.If you don't care about pack size or longevity, these are the cat's meow. But for me, spending this much on some bases makes me assume they'll almost outlast ME. I'll get some synthetics next time, knowing they're not quite as warm and see if they're any less fragile.
For my money, these are the best long underwear bottoms money can buy. They're warm, wick moisture away so sweat doesn't build up if you're working hard, and they don't hold odors. They're soft to the touch and very comfortable. Machine washable and dryer friendly! You can't get better than these! I've had mine for over a year now, with near constant wear during the winter months, and they've held up fantastically. Hardly any signs of wear yet.
