I LOVE this jacket! It is definitely the warmest jacket I have ever or probably ever will own. I have tested it at a 3-day high-mountain outdoor festival in December, walking my dogs in 5 degree windy, dawn weather, and I have yet to feel cold. I would love to test it out strapped to my board if it would just start snowing! I can't vouch for wetness factor, but you'll definitely stay cozy on the windy chairlift up. There are plenty of other great features (surround sound hood, avalanche rescue beacon and zipper whistle, nice long wrist snowguards) - Sessions put a lot of thought into the details of this jacket. My only complaint is the lack of a snowskirt around the waist.
