I've used a few of these in the past on an Appalachian Trail thru-hike, for keeping spare clothes dry, and for consolidating food and hanging it from trees so bears and hungry people who can't climb trees can't steal my food. They work quite nicely for keeping things together and for keeping things dry. I used the 13L ones. Just bought a 1L sack to store the phone, charger, earbuds, and wallet, since those things should be kept dry, and are useful for keeping together. I got the pink one, obviously, because chicks dig hunky outdoorsy guys, and chicks dig pink, so why not combine the two and profit. Anyways, they're worth it. Happy trails.
Works well I love the material its durable and the colors are birthright. I can fit a nice weeks worth of clothes and others things in then L bag seals well and has instructions for sealing the lip properly on inside of bag. Nice.
i have a 3 person tent, I always had a hard time getting it to compress down to fit really good in to my backpack. I got the 13L one and its just the fight size for a 3 person tent! make sure you push out all the air first before you roll it up! it really compress it down to the size or a mid size sleeping bag in its stuff sack. I love how no air get back in to it so it stays small in your bag and doesn't try it expand.
"Great for keeping things dry and organized."
The folding clip top worked great. It does tend to get filled with air because it is sealed so well, so be sure to press all the air out before closing it up. Also, the smallest size works great for a phone, video camera, etc.
Gotta keep stuff dry! Medical kit, toilet paper, clothes, etc. - The sacks work perfectly for the job. The larger sizes are also great for 1) backpack liners and 2) storage of a backpack on a kayaking trip. My buddy and I have done a few trips now where we stow our backpacking pack (emptied out) in the 20L sack and strap it to the top of the kayak. Kayak downstream then hike back to the car!
We used the 35L dry sack to bear bag my food, and unfortunately, it rained all night. Fortunately, our food stayed dry (and uneaten by bears). We also used 13L and 20L versions to keep a dry set of clothes in our packs. The packs didn't get wet, so no telling if we averted disaster there, but I feel pretty confident that the sacks were up to the task. These are lightweight, easy to use, and very convenient for a number of uses. I will be getter some additional smaller ones for other items to help keep my pack well organized.
I use this product as a stuff sack for backpacking. Right now I only have one, but I plan to purchase more. The one I have now is used to store my food while hiking. The stuff sack keeps my food dry which is a big plus for wet nights in bear country where your food must be hung. The fabric is also super light weight. Please note that the product description says it stays dry when not submerged, so I would not recommend this for water sports.
