i have one of each size small through large and use them for everything when I backpack. I even use them for regular travel (pack the shit out of one and take my messenger bag with the rest) so freaking great. Awesome. Get one or three.
This is a super great compression sack, that will get your down feather sleeping bag to the size of a grapefruit. It was a great decision buying this with my western mountaineering summerlite sleeping bag. I am extremely happy with this purchase! Go buy one now, from moosejaw. Buy it.
These bags are great! They are light weight compress to very small sizes and are very durable. My oldest one is over 5 years old and its still in great condition. Slick surface also makes them easy to slide in your bag.
I took this on a two-week camping trip in Africa. I stubbornly decided I would do the entire trip with a 33L backpack - tent and all! I stuffed my Big Agnes Fly Creek 2-person tent, my Mountain Hardwear Ultralamina sleeping bag, and my pack towel in this thing and crammed it into the bottom of my bag. For the record, that's roughly 10 pounds of crap in a 5 pound bag. Basically, I abused it like a red headed step child every day for two weeks. Just get it - a solid stuff sack is a traveler's best friend.
Excellent compression sack. Very light. Surprisingly durable. Can really crank down on the webbing to super compress it. Takes up virtually no space or weight in the pack. I will be ordering more soon!
I have a 10 year old sleeping bag (but it still works reallllly good i swear) that my brother borrowed and lost the stuff sack for. I have never use a compression sack for my sleeping bage before but i love this one. It gets my bag super small.
I take these wonderful, waterproof, Cordura sacks on every trip of mine, and my gear stays compressed in my pack, and DRY. Works great to store camp shoes, so when you stop, you know you will have some dry comfortable shoes.
