The Sea to Summit Folding Bucket. The ideal lightweight solution for carrying and storing water in the outdoors. The Folding Bucket is made from non-absorbent, food grade TPU-coated nylon- 210 D around the sides, 420 D on the base for added strength. Carry handle is made of a dual layer 420 D nylon which is RF welded to the main body.Additional grab handle on the base makes pouring easy. Comes in a zippered pouch.

"Doesn't tip or leak. Folds up incredibly small. Incredibly lightweight." 02/26/11

I get so excited about original little products like this that are:1) amazingly lightweight2) save incredible amounts of space3) make camp life easier.Minor gripe: Would be nice if it had a lid. One bucket of water lasted us (2 people) 24 hours. That's a lot of time for debris to collect in an open bucket of water. But a few pine-needles never hurt anyone.*Tip: Get the bigger size. It will be easier to carry without spilling if it is not all the way full.

"Great for what it does!" 10/18/10

This thing does everything it claims. Lightweight, durable and thankfully holds water ;) I use it for a standby when I have a fire going, washing up water and more so for purifying water after letting it sit for a while. Does all of these jobs beautifully. Stands upright on a flat surface all the way through to a 15 degree angle i've found. After that its a bit, do at your own risk. Otherwise just hang it on something.

"Good Folding Bucket" 09/06/10

It does exactly what I hoped it would. I wasn't looking for miracles, just a watertight vehicle. I use this to carry water which I then purify. I think this is much more efficient than some items which tout themselves a "kitchen sink!" Light, multi-functional, and an overall buy!

"Great tool to have around camp worth the extra oz's" 04/12/10

I really like this because I can fill it up in a stream or lake and then chill back at camp while I filter my water for both drinking and cooking. Then use the rest for cleaning up the kitchen after dinner. One note I believe from playing with my scale at home that the pocket it comes stuffed in is not included in the weight stated on the package, however it still packs perfectly without it. I also got the larger size because it was only about an oz more but holds twice the amount of water which I thought was worth it specially for only 5 bucks more.

"Good for size & convenience; wouldn't trust it to stand on it's own very long" 10/27/09

I bought this bucket primarily to use when filtering water but used it for dishes on a recent trip. The diameter of the bucket (8.5") is a bit small for our largest pot. The big drawback though, is that the bucket collapses very easily and spills water everywhere. Using the bucket on a surface that's not level or jostling the bucket around while using it will cause it to collapse. It even collapsed just sitting on a level surface undisturbed. I haven't used it for filtering water yet, but if should work great for that as long as someone else is holding it while I do so. It does pack down to a really small size and would be great for hauling water. I'd suggest hanging it if storing water.
