I already own a few pairs of below-ankle traditional Sanuks and these boots take it to the next level. Same super comfort you expect from Sanuk, combined with plush warm lining and a more weather-appropriate sole. They are comfy enough to make me consider a second pair to wear as slippers around the house. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a cozy, minimalist soft-construction boot - and they are animal friendly, way better than shearling boots like Ugg.
These boots are meant to be a slightly warmer, water resistant version of your casual Sanuk sidewalk surfers in a boot form any other expectations of them will be your own failure to plan appropriately for weather conditions. I've worn mine in crazy downpouring rain walking the dogs and my socks were dry when I came home. To me these are more of a comfy casual boot that looks cute with jeans or even a cute sweater dress and leggings. I bought one pair initially and loved it so much I got all 3 colors. These boots are warm and fuzzy inside and I find they fit a bit large. I normally wear a 9.5 in most shoes and a 10 in Roxy and in these boots I wear a 9 comfortably.
