"Better off wrapping in a cloth and putting in a ziplock bag" 02/17/10
This thing is so small it measures 10 inches long and barely fits any crampons without ripping it (I have petzl vasak, BD Cyborg, Grivel g14). Save your money or get the BD its a little bigger.
"Too short for Grivel Crampons" 04/03/09
Not sure if the bag work with Petzl crampons. Maybe these are shorter in length but this bag is not suitable with my Grivel crampons. Either are my Grivel crampons too long or the bag to short. The front points poked through the bag at the first usage.
"It works, its sturdy, and its a great rpice" 03/01/07
Nice design, seems pretty sturdy. As far as bags go, construction of this crampon bag is top notch. It could be fairly larger for my crampons, but I am not using a Petzl crampon. The nylon mesh is also sturdier than it appears in pictures and seems pretty abrasion resistant. Overall, for the price its a great deal.
"OK but not necessary" 12/16/05
Well built crampon pouch, but seemt o be made more for ice climbing crampons, not the rivel G10's that I have. I've decided not to use it, so it is collecting dust until the day I get some razor-sharp crampons, which will most likely never happen.
