Fingertips and other high-wear areas are reinforced for increased durability. The back is made of leather with abrasion-resistant stretch nylon at key flex areas. The low profile neoprene cuff with Velcro closure features a reinforced carabiner hole for attaching the gloves to your harness.

This is a great glove to use while both rigging, climbing and caving. My only issue with them (which the same for all leather gloves) is that the do get a bit crunchy after they become wet. They will soften up but after they have been wet and become dry a few times the shrink a bit. If you are in between sizes opt for the bigger size.
i bought these gloves after having failed with several others. the palms are a little thick but with a little breaking in they limber up. getting used to the lack of sensitivity was a little rough but it happened. the neoprene cuffs work really well and the leather biner tab doubles as a good point to pull on your gloves.the cordex backing wicks sweat and keeps your hands cool. overall im very very impressed with these gloves.
