"Great jacket!" 05/11/13
I am really happy with this jacket. It's a layering dream. You can wear it over light weight clothes to stay warm on a cool day or with a fleece under it on cold days and not feel bulky at all. Throw a shell over it for the ultimate protection. It isn't heavy enough for super cold weather alone, but is the perfect partner on super cold days or activities. Get hot? You can easily roll this up and throw it into your bag because it's so compactable.
"Honestly, the best jacket I've ever owned." 04/16/13
First, I really, really hate being cold. Second, I really, really love this jacket. It's incredibly lightweight and soft, but more importantly it is SO warm. I wear it basically everywhere- walking around the city, hiking, underneath a shell when skiing, etc.
"My favorite go to jacket!" 03/26/13
I love, love, love this jacket. It is warm, soft, and has a hood. I like the sizing, the regular fit means I can even wear a sweatshirt under it if I want. I walk my dog in the morning every day, and I put on this jacket at least 6-8 months out of the year!
"Great idea, but didn't fit!" 01/24/13
I really liked this jacket when I first got it, but I am usually a small for most companies, and the small for Patagonia fit like a medium - was too big in the width of the jacket, and even when I layered it didn't help too much. I am 5'4" and 135 pounds, and because of the fit I had to return it. If I could have kept it had it fit, I would have really liked the large hood that I could fit over my helmet for warm skiing days, and the lightweight feeling of it would have been great for those "not-so-bitter" winter days. The green color was really nice, but a little lighter than what I thought it was going to be - more of an aqua. Wish that it had fit so I didn't have to return it!
"I love this jacket!!!!!!!! The color is the bomb!" 01/24/13
I had this jacket in the non hooded version and finally splurged to get the hooded version in the awesome tealy/blue color. This hood makes all the difference, just gives it a little more warmth than the non hooded version. I am 5'3, 115 pds and the small fits fantastically.
"In love <3" 01/06/13
This jacket is absolutely gorgeous. I first saw it at Nordstrom and fell in love with it but couldn't justify spending $250 for it so then I came across MooseJaw that offered the jacket for $174. I could not pass that up!! It's super stylish & makes you look adventurous at the same time! I am a 34" bust, 26" waist, and about 36 1/2" hips and I ordered a size small. I am 5'9 and weigh 130lbs. Overall this is an amazing jacket, super lightweight, and super warm. Yayyy so excited for it, it's a must have!
"Well worth the price!" 01/05/13
This jacket is the greatest thing on Earth! I wore it around casually for a while (to and from class, to the grocery store) and it was fine. Then I decided to really test it out hiking in the mountains in Massachusetts in January. I packed it in my my suitcase and cringed thinking there was no way that I would be warm enough but I figured I'd give it a go. Holy moley, was I pleasantly surprised! The fact that it is so thin is actually great because you get free movement of your body and you don't feel like the Michelin Man but you don't lose the warmth factor. Well worth the price! Another awesome Patagonia product!
"Student who skis it's perfect for both!" 12/29/12
Got this jacket in the turquoise and I almost never take it off! It is the perfect jacket because it will keep you toasty warm in the winter (I wear it under a shell and ski in it) or the not so winter! My favorite thing about this jacket is that when I run into class from a snowy day I'm not sweating immediately and have to tear it off. It is versatile and you won't overheat in it either! LOVE THIS JACKET
"Bought a second one!" 12/23/12
Love it even more than my one without the hood. Good for 65F down to 10F! Not for skiing, at least not here in the Northeast, except maybe in the spring. Stays mostly dry in light rain, running to get coffee etc. but not all day. Dries quickly though. One cool jacket you can't afford not to have in your closet (mine never gets put away for that long)!
"HELLS BELLS PALOOOZA! I absolutely love this jacket." 12/11/12
Living in Gunnison, CO, one has to be prepared for cold weather. This jacket is the perfect fit. Today, it was -6 degrees, and this jacket kept me toasty warm on my way to work and class. It is super light-weight and comfortable with room for layering! And to add icing to the cake, this jacket has a hood which seals out the wind and snow! I have never been so warm and comfortable!! Thanks other reviewers for all of your help!
