The Women's Tres Parka by Patagonia. The Tres Parka is a 3-in-1 waterproof/windproof down coat for the coldest climes; it's made of polyester stretch twill and has an H2No barrier and Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) finish. As they say in France and some parts of the Great White North a.k.a. Canada, this parka is "tres chic." There's an accent in there somewhere, but let's not get technical.

"Tres Parka - Buy It!" 02/10/13
I purchased the Fiona Patagonia coat earlier this season, which didn't keep me warm enough. I decided to splurge once this coat went on sale, and very glad I did. I can use the trench without the parka in the fall/spring. I sized up as this coat as a slim fit and I do like to wear layers. The grey color is classic! So nice not to have another black coat.
"My wife swears by this coat" 01/24/13
This has saved my wife from some pretty bitterly cold days here in NYC. When the windchill is below freezing she normally wears this with just a T-shirt underneath and is, I quote "toasty warm". Not sure whether she has small hand or others have large ones but she has no complaints about pocket size. She tried on, bought, and returned MANY other coats and while this one's expensive - it's worth the money over others.
"Cannot Say Enough Good Things About This Coat!" 12/10/12
I love this coat! I didn't purchase it through MooseJaw (wish I had!) but I love it so much, I felt compelled to write a review for it here! It's like 3 jackets in 1! So worth the price! Very flattering and sleek looking and you can dress it up or down! Keeps me so toasty and warm and it's super easy to remove the down liner and wear just the shell alone or the down jacket! It even has pockets so it looks like a completely separate coat by itself! It was certainly a splurge but it's so functional! 100% worth it!!!
"anna from earth" 09/09/12
I'm a 163 cm 54 kilos heavy women - a bit bold shoulders - have usually problems with sizes - use m in triolet but could also have had an s but wanted to be able to move without anything stopping me over the sholders and the elbows- can anyone refer to this and give me a size clue?
"The perfect balance of practicality and fashion!" 01/12/12
This coat is absolutely wonderful. I had been eyeing it for months, and it magically went on sale. The inner layer is adorable by itself. It is form fitting and it is quite warm. Living in Chicago and having to walk at least a mile outside daily, I needed a warm coat but still wanted to look cute! This is it. My only complaint is that the outer shell has extremely small pockets. I have small hands, xs in gloves, and they barely fit in there! Let alone my phone. For sizing reference I am 5' 4" and 115 and ordered the XS and it fits like a glove. Sleeves are the perfect length, and it hits my knees. If you are unsure about this coat, buy it. You will not regret it.
"Get ready to welcome a warm, chic, versatile new best friend into your wardrobe." 12/24/11
I needed a warm coat that would look nice. This coat does that and so much more. I'm 5'3" and it falls just before my knees- perfect for keeping wind out and covering the ends of dresses. It feels amazing on- the waist cinches in the tiniest bit so that you can actually feel like you have curves. The hood fits amazingly well. And the collar looks extremely chic. When the weather got up to 45-50º and rainy, I separated the coats and used the outer trench. It was very water and wind proof. The under coat's diamond stitching erases the puff effects and I love wearing it on its own too. Patagonia did everything right. 3 different coats in one, and a cut that will be trendy forever.
"Good looking and warm" 11/28/11
This coat is a wonderful coat to wear to the office or out to play. It is warm and can keep you toasty in all kinds of weather. This is a must have. I would recommend this jacket to everyone. It is warm and so soft. It is also very stylish. Moosejaw has the best selection and the greatest deals.
"Great Jacket for Many Uses" 11/18/11
This Patagonia jacket has a great long length, is very stylish and very warm. It has a zip out full length puffy jacket as well giving you a few options to wear one with the other or each separately. I mean, is there ever a bad three-way? It is durable and easy to clean and has served me well. I highly recommend it for cold gusty nights or wearing the stylish insert out on the town.
"Look like a Fashionista in cold weather" 11/13/11
Wore it already as a shell, just the down jacket. Got compliments left and right.Looking forward to test the "whole as as a unit" when the temps drop.Even without the inner down the shell is quite streamlined and pretty. I wore it to work over a business suit. You would never know it is not a regular trench ;)Wish the sleeves on the down inset would be more drawn together by elastic so cold/wind does not sneak under.Perhaps the next batch will get that option.with a bit larger pockets on the shell. The pockets on the down inset are good size.
"Love this Coat!" 11/01/11
Just received in time for Denver's second storm of the season. I looked hot while commuting on the train this morning. Some guy across from me kept giving me the eye and then I realized the dude was my husband and was probably eyeing my new purchase that somehow slipped through the door without him noticing. I'm 5'8" - 135 and the Medium fit well. Caution, however, it is a slim fit and fits tighter than a regular fit coat. The pockets are a bit small, but not a deal breaker. Style and warmth without the bulk and "puff" of a regular parka. Beginning of the season I was shopping for both a new car coat and parka. Found both my needs were met with this one purchase. Highly recommend.
"Great for Walkers" 10/03/11
I always felt ridiculous wearing a jacket and warm pants around my college campus, I gave in and bought a parka. This was the greatest choice. Wasn't too puffy, and fit really nice. It kept me amazingly warm and was easy to walk in around campus in the winter.
