Although more expensive than most, so far this jacket has stayed soft through several washes and has not shed! It is incredibly comfortable and allows for great movement. Love wearing it outdoors or just around the house on a cold day.
I like this jacket A LOT, the only thing is the fuzzy factor. I knew this going in and thought, well, fuzzy is in! It's definitely cute, but the fuzzy thing is kinda goofy. I can't get over it, but the blue color is so pretty, I wear the R3 anyway. Oh, and it's comfortable too. Not too hot and not too cold, just right...
Every few years I invest in a good fleece jacket, and the R3 is perfect under a light parka. Also, I have a few conditions which make me cold all the time so I wear heavy fleece inside all winter long (yes, with the heater on). Great quality, fits like a glove (fyi 5'8" 123lbs., could wear a S but got M bc of 36D). Haven't washed it yet but I'm sure it'll be fine. I went out of my color comfort zone and got the Cochineal Red and it looks awesome. The other brands' fuzzy fleece look cheap when compared to this- yes it's pricey but well worth it bc you won't need to buy another one in years!
