The Patagonia Women's R1 Pullover is a slim fit fleece for climbing and hiking in cool weather. The R1 Pullover is constructed out of Regulator® grid fleece, a Polartec® Power Dry® fabric, that wicks moisture, stretches, and keeps you warm as you work towards the next goal. The raglan sleeves steer clear of pack straps for all-day comfort and the 1/4 zip makes temperature regulation so quick and easy. Or you can just remove the whole thing and stuff it down into your pack for later. It smushes down to a small size pretty darn well thanks to the grid pattern for packing away.

SPECIFICATIONS of the Patagonia Women's R1 Pullover
This fit me perfectly, with a little room for a layer underneath. I am 5'3" and 125 muscular pounds and a 34A. Arms are of average length ;) It seemed really warm and very light weight. Ultimately, though, chose the black because this green is briiiight
"Comfortable and warm- great layering piece"
Although it doesn't have the most flattering fit, the R1 is comfortable, warm, and serves as a great layering piece. Picks up a little more smell with multiple wears than a comparable piece in another material, such as wool, but for the price this is definitely a great choice. Also breaths really well. Great choice!
This is great pice of clothing. I wear it often for running, as well as errands around town. It not only wicks well, but the zipper allows for temperature control during runs, which is a huge benefit. I really like the length, especially as it doesn't ride up, as some shirts tend to do. I haven't noticed any pilling of the fabric, either. This is one of my go-to base layers.
I just got the new R1 pullover and it is even better than last year's model. The color is more vibrant and I have so far had no pilling of the fleece after a few washes. The arm length is also a little shorter than the 2010 model which I like and the fabric is thicker but still retains the comfortable waffle print fleece. This is my favorite base layer or mid layer!
