I got this coat for my girlfriend and she loves it! It's mostly worn just around town as she does not rock climb but its still an awesome coat! When it gets really really really cold, she throws a long sleeve shirt and a Patagonia synchilla pullover under this puppy and she is toasty cold. Her favorite thing is the movement and that the jacket DOES NOT RESTRICT MOVEMENT at all! It feels just Ike you aren't wearing a coat. I went with the black color for her and it matches almost everything as it has a tiny tiny bit of glossy finish to the shell. This is a great coat and more people should buy it!
"Warmest Jacket I've Ever Owned, No Frills"
I bought this jacket primarily for my bike commute on cold mornings. It has not disappointed. It is super light so I don't feel like I am wearing a big, puffy coat, but I have never been cold while wearing it. It is a bit bulkier than it looks in the picture. I have also worn it skiing and in the snow, it does the job.
"Too Long to Move Freely & Color was Off"
I'm only 5', so that might be why it was too long for me, but it basically came down to the top of my legs. To hike, ski or climb it would feel too restrictive. The loft was good and needless to say the quality was good. I ordered the blackberry and it looked more like a sorbet then a solid color. Not good for me.
If it wasn't for the fact that you can see the down through the shell this would be a 10/10 jacket.I bought this for my wife who, like most women, want to be able to wear their trail gear "fashionably". There's no way she could use this in the field and about town.Returned.p.s. it was the light blue color
