You will feel like you are getting a big, warm bear hug from this jacket. It is so cuddly. And, wash after wash it stays the same. Fabulous. You will not regret your purchase. In thin Patagonia I like a large. I have this jacket in large and it is loose. I could own mediums. But, I like "loose" and that allows for layering. Arms are so nice and long and LOVE the thumb holes. Yay Moose Jaw and Patagonia!
I love all of the capilene layers from Patagonia and this hoody is no exception. It is so soft and warm. All of the capilene is meant to be layered. I bought this hoody to put under a jacket for colder weather hiking, so I could have the hood available as a back up. I love the warmth and the wicking properties of the capilene. It is a 'must have' layer! I have the purple, which is beautiful. Great quality, beautiful colors, great performance. I would highly recommend this for cold weather layering.
Don't get me wrong I love this jacket, I just don't know if it's worth the price. It's not as thick as other similar polar tech gear I own but is still very comfy. I love the fact that it has pocket, thumb holes, and a hood. The length is good but like the other review I wish it had drawstring adjustments. If you're looking for a sweatshirt-like jacket to wear with jeans I think this is great, but if it's really cold out (we're talking a high of 15 degrees) this is not my go to piece.
This hoodie, is probably the best I have ever owned. It took a lot for me to spend this kind of money on a hoodie, but when I put it on for the first time, I was in heaven. I don't think that I have taken it off since. It is warm, soft and stylish. Everything an outdoorsy girl needs and worth every penny!
This a wonderful hoody that is actually long enough!!!! It has a soft interior that is nice and warm but not bulky. The one thing that I wish it had was strings to tighten the hood cause when the wind starts blowing the hood tends to fly back. Overall great hoody (I want one in every color.
