""ALL DAY, ERRYDAY COMFORT!" - Wife" 03/17/13

During my wife's first and second trimester during her preganancy, all she wanted was to be comfortable. When she wasn't comfortable, I'd lose a finger. I bought her this wonderful jacket and she immediately fell in love with it. She never fails to mention to me how cozy the jacket was. Cozy is the best adjective to describe this jacket because it feels like you're being hugged by a teddy bear all the time. ( A less vulgar teddy bear than "TED") The hood is perfect, the pockets are perfect, and the sleeves are the perfect length. The sleeves dont ride up the arm when trying to reach for something. Buy this jacket for your wives!

"Great Super Warm jacket and very flattering!" 02/23/13

I generally assume that good hiking and travel gear cannot also be cute but this is the number one item I have found that does both beautifully. The fabric is very sturdy so it holds its shape beautifully but is also comfortable and moves easily. The cut on the Patagonia better sweaters -- with or without the hood -- are amazing. They seem so stylish because of their awesome construction. I planned to use this jacket as a layering piece but it is often too warm with my heavy winter jacket on top. I plan to use this as my main spring jacket and on my up coming hiking trip. I especially love the fabric inside and the high zip at the chin, so cozy!

"Fabric too thin" 01/05/13

I was so excited to receive this hoodie and am so disappointed that I don't love it :( The fit was decent. I agree with other reviewers that the arms and torso are longer than typical, which is great for me (I'm 5'9 and long through the middle). The reason I'm returning this product is because of how flimsy the fabric is: you can see a lot of light shining through it if you hold it near a lamp. I was looking for a warm fleece hoodie. Given the price and brand, I expected a much more substantial product. Patagonia missed the mark with this one.

"Great hoodie, great gift!" 01/04/13

I got this hoodie for my girlfriend for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. Great design and the hoodie is thick, soft, and keeps you very warm. She says she also loves the big pockets, so it's easy to carry her phone and stuff. It also fits wonderfully. Could not have made a better purchase. Great! 5 stars.

"Great gift and even better hoody" 12/22/12

I bought this hoody as a gift for my girlfriend and she couldn't be more happy with it. The exterior is very attractive and the hoody itself is quite thick. The inner lining is soft and insulating. The pockets are very functional and the one on the arm in particular is great for any cards you may want to carry with you. It is slim fit but not overly so, I would call it a perfect fit. She couldn't be happier with it. 5 stars.

"Super warm and cute!" 12/17/12

I absolutely love this jacket. If you're gonna go with the zip-up better sweater, definitely get this one with the hood. It's great extra coverage. The turquoise color really pops, too!

"Incredible Quality" 12/11/12

Got the Better Sweater for my birthday 3 years ago, and it looks and feels just as great as it did the first time I put it on. Great to layer under a vest for fall and spring weather, or to wear lounging around the house on a chilly day. Such a great value, I ended up buying one for my husband a couple months after getting mine. LOVE IT!

"This is not your average fleece." 11/20/12

I am sort of a fleece jacket hoarder. Over the years, I have purchased many fleece jackets. This is BY FAR the best jacket I have ever owned. It is soft, warm, and light weight. I absolutely love it. Patagonia now has me as a faithful follower. WOW. Unbelievable product.

"Well Worth The Price" 07/01/12

You know the purchases you often make even when you cannot afford them? They typically leave you feeling remorseful. I felt no remorse after buying this hoody. I love wearing this thing. Across campus, off-roading, and even at the dog park. I live with 3 big (and often dirty) dogs and it has held up extremely well to washing. It is so cozy. I'd wear it everyday if that was acceptable with society. I am 5'6 and the small fit really well. They sleeves are perfectly long. You can easily layer things underneath as well.

"can't pry it off me" 05/11/12

This is by far the best fleece I've ever owned! I originally returned a magenta one I bought because I just wasn't feeling the color at all. I thought I'd give it another chance and so bought it in black. I work in a business casual office in a super outdoorsy community so it works great in my office environment and looks really clean and classy. Its cozy and warm and perfect for these spring days where its a little chilly in the morning but warms up a bit as the day goes on. I've checked out the other colors and, to me, everything other than black looks really casual and has a grey almost mottled tone to it. The black is crispt and solid though- I highly recommend it!
