Lightweight stretch-woven nylon/spandex with a Deluge DWR finish and 40-UPF sun protection
Belt loops zip fly with metal snap closure
Pockets: Two front two rear with envelope closures right thigh patch zippered pocket
Gusseted crotch and articulated knees for ease of movement

"Great pair of pants." 05/06/13

I have now worn these in the heat of Costa Rica and the spring rain of the Appalachians. They worked perfectly in both.The pants are lightweight and move with your body. When other people were stripping down to shorts because their pants were too warm I was feeling just right!! Nice zippered side pocket and I really like the design of the rear pocket flaps.I'd buy another pair!!

"Great Pants" 03/12/13

I have used these the last year while rock climbing and bushwacking through the backcountry on a backpack elk hunt and in the office on a regular basis. They don't so much as have a hole in them. The seem to run a little big so maybe size down.

"You may need a belt" 03/04/13

I would like to say these pants are incredibly comfortable and they fit and flex great for hiking and spending full days climbing. They will handle moisture and you will also look fashionable all day on the rock. The issue I have with these is that the button for the waist does not hold to securely. So if you wear a harness or a belt you are golden. Hiking Dolly-Sodds and every five minutes it would pop. I know what your thinking lay of the smores but thats not the case I am a rail and have wiggle room in these pants just the strength of button is weak and easily un snaps.Bottom line wear a belt or a harness

"Great Pants if you get them at retail. Amazing pants if you get them on sale" 02/14/13

Im 6' and weigh 160 lbs. I made the terrible mistake of getting 34s. should have got 32s and I regret that decision to this day. At work I move tables and chairs around and get pretty hot. These pants make a night and day difference in temperature below the waist. No more chub rub for me.had my coffee between my legs on them on the way to work and spilled it on them and it brushed right off (why they make cars with no cup-holders is beyond me). they dont resist ink stains very well however not many articles of clothing do. I wish they were a little narrower around the ankle or had tensioners down there so I could wear my NB minimuss without tearing up the bottoms.

"Snatched these suckers on clearance" 08/27/12

And love em. patagonia has always been a comfortable pant, but these are even better because they were on sale! pockets are nice, fabric is tough and stretchy, and I'm not sweating to death in them!
