The Patagonia Men’s Nano Puff Vest is a lightweight insulating vest for hiking chilly weather. The ripstop recycled polyester fabric is super lightweight, and coated with a durable water repellent for water-resistance. The windproof layer can pack down small into its own pocket for use once the chill picks up. The quilted pattern isn’t just for looks, although you will look smashing, it keeps the 60g of PrimaLoft ONE insulation in place. This way all the warmth won’t sag to the bottom. Pull the drawcord at the hem tight to keep out drafts as you hike around the lake. The two zippered pockets warm your hands, or keep a couple small essentials secure and close by. A toasty core keeps the heart happy.

Unbelievably light weight, but warm. Beatable enough to wear in the office all day but warm enough to wear outside over a flannel on a crisp day. Packs very easily into the chest pocket. Would definitely recommend.
"A comfy, versatile vest perfect for layering."
After heading over to the Pattie store in downtown Seattle, I threw this vest on my xmas list that I shipped out to my fam this winter. I received it prior to a trip to Bachelor in Oregon. The vest quickly became a favorite winter staple. The fit of the vest is rather close cut; perfect for me. The vest delivered a considerable amount of LIGHTWEIGHT warmth for our snowshoe walk. I found my torso comfortably insulated. Where this jacket really shines, however, is in layering. I piled on 3 layers under the vest and debated wearing a jacket over it. Great features on the vest include: left and right zipper pockets with garages to house the YKK zippers (yes!), an inside left breast pocket that is big enough to fit a small book (this is also the pocket you pack the vest into), and an elastic sinch at the waist. The collar rises to a comfortable height. All in all, I will regularly rep this vest throughout multiple seasons and look to keep one in my closet all the time.
"Comfortable, warm vest for the the core!"
Nice vest for chilly days (all 4 seasons) to keep the core warm. I'm 5'9" and 160lbs - ordered the medium and fits just right. Keeps the core warm without the bulk. Wear over long or short sleeves or under another layer to keep toasty. Everything is as advertised here - buy with piece of mind.
"This looks great camping or just out with a button down"
the fit is a bit on the slim side so it's not puffy which i prefer.it will keep you nice and warm.i pair this usually with my patagonia R1 hoody which rocks!this packs down into the breast pocket which you can hook a carabiner to carry it around.very useful when you are hiking and it starts getting pretty warm.Love love love it.
Lightweight, but not flimsy. Warm, but not hot. Fitted, but not restricting. Take it from a 5'11" svelte active guy like me who didn't want the fat down vest (but wanted a scrunchable warm layering piece), and didn't want something "oh man, I'm sweating over my clothes?" either. Light, breathable, warm, moves with you, and oh yeah... it looks great and timeless too! Consider it an investment piece.
"Super light, packs down to a small size."
I got this to wear over long sleeve shirts for some more warmth and also as a additional layer when I'm in colder weather over a Patagonia thermal. It allows me to carry more items since it has 3 pockets and they all zipper up so you won't lose things.I like this vest as a layering system because it allows more arm movement when layering allowing me to cast or use my arms better.
