This hat denies searing sun with its generous wraparound brim. Made from long-wearing, 4-ply Supplex nylon in a reversible two-color option, it has a DWR (durable water repellent) finish that sheds water. The soft chin strap holds bucket in place without chafing young jaw lines and tucks away when not in use. Wraparound brim to protect precious skin from sun.

"Cool hat! Kids love it!"

This is such a cool hat for the little ones. My daughters love it because it keeps the sun off their face and head a little cooler than in the blazing hot sun. The chin strap works well, too. Not too tight, but it keeps the lid on (if you know what I mean).Comes in lots of funky colors and patterns and goes with anything (because it really goes with nothing!). But the kids love it and that's what counts, right?Patagonia knows kids and this hat shows it!
