These stuff away into the back pocket about the size of a sandwich ziploc bag. Keeps my butt dry on those unexpected rainy days. I am 5'9 154lbs athletic build and usually wear a size 4-6 short length pants. A Medium in these is just barely long enough. Anyone who has to order the long jeans(or is tall with normal length pants) definitely go a size up for that extra inch. There is room for me to wear them over normal jeans with the M size, but if you plan on wearing them over several layers I would also recommend to go a size up. Double zipper feature is nice to get them over boots.
These have been brilliant over thermals and/or jeans, for everything from a casual walk in the snow, or an avid hike in wet conditions. Brilliant to be able to keep other outdoor gear dry. Not really warm on their own, but paired with other gear are the perfect addition for the outdoor wardrobe. Highly recommended!
I'm a preschool teacher and when I throw kids in snow banks these pants are nice when I have to dig them out. (I don't really throw kids in snow banks...I wouldn't have a job if that were the case.) These pants are great for keeping dry. They are very durable and keep me warm to boot!

So I got these for kayaking and fishing and they really are 100% waterproof it's great. The only thing is that I got a size small (size 4-5 jeans) and I probably have to exchange for a medium. One of the best things about these pants is besides being waterproof they zip down all the way so you don't need to pull them off.
