"Perfect multi purpose balaclava" 05/08/13

Good isolation, good breathability and very good options, one only defect does not close properly behind the eyes, I need to make a change, remove the seam between fixed his hat and face mask, then you can freely adjust and cover well.

"Warm and Sneaky" 12/25/12

This balaclava is great for shielding your face from blistery winds. I bought it for biking during the winter months. The cold air can take a serious toll on your bare skin without proper protection. The Ninjaclava is versatile and can be worn to cover the full head or just the face.Fairly inexpensive for a key piece of gear.

"Works as well as I hoped it would!" 12/19/11

I was tired of getting pelted with snow/ice at the top of the mountain, the protects my entire face and doesn't get soaked from my breath. It also fits nicely under my helmet and doesn't make my head itch. I havn't tried the more expensive balaclavas, but I can't imagine they are worth spending the extra $$. Go with the Ninja!

"Great Balaclava...I mean Ninjaclava!!" 02/04/11

After a lot of research for my recent snowboarding trip, I decided to purchase the Outdoor Research Ninjaclava and I'm glad I did. 2 days/nights of snowboarding and the product has perfectly kept my head and face warm. Not to mention the coolness factor involved with just wearing around the house and neighborhood. The outside of the ninjaclava does get damp from talking with the buds but it didnt bother me. Although, they say it looked like I had lint on my mouth area. Great product.

"If you buy this your face WILL thank you" 12/12/10

Before buying this I use to suffer skiing in below zero conditions with nothing to protect my face. Finally I'd had enough (frostbite that is) and decided to bit the bullet and get this. It has been one of the best gear purchases I've made. My concern with facemasks was for water to build up but this breathes exceptionally and keeps your entire face warm, especially when worn with goggles. The rubberized goggle grips do an excellent job of holding goggles in place as well!

"This Ninja is happy" 12/06/10

I got this in the mail today and I, of course, took the Ninjaclava for a three mile hike to test it out. It was 23 degrees outside with a wind-chill of 15 degrees. By the end of the three miles the outside of the Ninjaclava was soaked from condensation from my breath and/or perspiration. The inside was TOTALLY DRY. I wore my OR Snoqualmie Sombrero over this and it was the perfect combination.
