"Osprey does a great job with it's packs"

The pack is great and is able to fit everything I need for week-long trips. It's a bit much if you're aiming for ultra-light, but does offer flexibility for longer or equipment heavy trips. I did experience the same issue with the zippers on the hip-belts, but this is a minor concern. The pack also pressed a little tight against my neck at first but that took some adjusting before the fit was just right. Osprey offers great adjustability and the suspension system on the pack is great. I would recommend this pack to hikers who want the suspension system of an osprey pack without the price of some the of the others.
"Classic, comfortable pack that does what it was designed to do"

I like that many extra straps, zippers, pockets, etc were removed during the design process, yet a full suspension system was included. This makes a pack that is comparatively lightweight (I measured exactly 3.75 lbs as stated) to other “bombproof” packs of similar size yet is comfortable from light to heavy loads. The pack remains comfortable until about 40 lbs for me, and then the shoulder strap padding feels thin. I am transitioning from car camping to backpacking, and the pack easily holds my bulkier equipment for a long weekend. The drawbacks I’ve noticed are the hipbelt zippers are difficult to close one handed, and my sleeping bag does not fit entirely within the bottom compartment.
