The Osprey Stratos 34 Pack is a backpack that is a compact version of Osprey's larger packs that features much of the same awesome technology, like the AirCore suspension and StraightJacket compression that is bound to make it your favorite daypack in a hurry. Durable and lightweight and sized perfectly for day trips, this pack is ready for any adventure you choose for it. "A great bag that can easily fit your laptop."
10/12/12
I bought this bag because I own the Stratos 24 and loved it so much. Unfortunately the 24 would not easily take my laptop, so I bought this one and it did not disappoint. It easily fit my 15 inch laptop with plenty of room to spare for other gear. It has tons of pockets including two on the belt and one vertical pocket on the harness. It is extremely comfortable to wear and I would recommend it to anyone.
This daypack is great there's a netting on the back that keeps you sweat free. You can also put a water bag on the inside compartment and there's a strap for the water tube that goes to the front for easy access. It also has a strap for a hiking poles on the side. Overall, one of the best hiking bag out there!!
"Great pack whether youre going for a nice day hike or going to a coffee shop."

great pack! I just took this on a 14 mile hike in colorado and it had more than enough room for that amount of time. Light weight, accessible pockets, roomy, solid, are some of the words i would use to describe this pack.
I use it for biking and hiking. Fits really well. Its like you have nothing on your back. When I commute with it, there is enough room to put my clothes, computer and lunch in it. The bag cover is nice, when the road is wet it keeps the bag dry and clean. And since its red, cars see me well.Wil hiking, I used the poles attaching system and its really well made. Easy and fast to use. I love all the zippered pockets on the belt and shoulder straps. The only 'complain' is that you have to be flexible to put your bottle in the side pocket will wearing it. But its doable.
"If you vacation, hike, camp, or go on day trips into town....."

Than this is for you!! I've used it for Disney trips, day hiking and just about everything else. The backing kept my back dry even in the muggy humid weather of FL. The hip belt feels great even after climbing uphill all day. The built in rain cover has saved my behind more than once & you pack & forget it's even there. All around great pack that you shouldve bought yesterday!
My first Osprey pack was the Talon 22. It is an exceptional pack itself, but I needed something just a little bigger for family day hikes. The Stratos is very comfortable and user friendly. Osprey puts a lot of thought in their products. No complaints from me. I highly recommend this pack for day hikes.
I currently have a Talon 22, which I love, but I wanted something a little bigger. I also wanted a pack with a large enough front pocket, so I could access my SLR a lot easier. This pack fit the bill perfectly. It is extremely comfortable and moves very well with me. I really enjoy the "stow on the go" pole holders. Even my 5 year old daughter said "that was smart of them". Once again, Osprey has come through with a great pack.
