"A good pack but one downfall for me" 11/05/12
I have had one of these for a few years and I still use it very often. There is one downfall that I have experienced, the straps have begun to fray. As I said, though, the pack is still usable and everything else is in great shape. I give it big ups because of all the great times I've had while using this piece.
"Love this pack!!" 10/22/12
I had been searching for a pack that I could use while doing some urban training/Parkour. Nothing big or heavy just simple and useful. I found it in this pack. It cinches down at the waist and chest, perfect for when on the move and is comfortable enough for all day wear. And don't let the size fool you, it holds more than you might think. It also holds hydration. Another plus, my back isn't all skunky after wearing it do to Osprey's genius designers. the panel is raised and meshed allowing for plenty of airflow. Perfect for me. Thanks.
"Great for short trips" 08/09/12
I've used this backpack for the entire summer, ranging from day hikes in the desert to climbing trips, to day trips into villages in Africa. This backpack has been a tough customer, never fraying, breaking, ripping, etc. I like the adjust-ability and the front pocket is quite useful. It really isn't useful for anything longer than a day trip though. Aside from that its a great bag for the price and super useful for any short trips.
"Awsome" 02/19/12
I got it as an add on for my Aether 85 but it was good timing cause my book bag fell apart the same week. since then I use it for everything from long trips to day trips to everyday at school. It holds way more than you would think from looking at it. The only draw back is the side compression straps. They expand well but they make putting things like my books or laptop into the top pocket. If they came with buckles for quick release that would make this pack perfect. And ending on a good note as long as it can still function as a pack I don't think I'll be needing to buy another.
"daylite? more like daybright..." 10/27/11
Good little backpack well worth 50 bucks. Has a seperate pocket for a resevoir, Then the main pocket which holds alot more than you would think. The front zipper that works great for a wallet or phone...not much else. About the size of a big draw string backpack. I have had it on my Atmos 50 but Its unnecessary for a 2 day hike so I use it by itself mostly.
"Fits the bill for wherever I need it!" 02/20/11
Bought this daypack to take on my latest vacation. Needed something smaller than my porter but bigger than a purse. Decided to break it in on our saturday afternoon hikes and don't know why I didn't think to get one sooner. Strapped it to the luggage rack on the motorcycle and almost lost it when the bungee cord we were using broke, tire burned a hole right thru it! But I LOVE the Osprey Almighty Gurantee!!!! Sent it back patched. All I have left to do is get a reservoir and I'll be good to go (my water bottles refuse to stay in the side pockets... course it might help if I stopped sliding down the hill, my brother-in-laws idead of shortcut is usually up a 90 degree slope!)
